let me apologize in advance if this topic was already covered in another post. If so, could you please merge my question or point me in the right direction?
A lot of female wearers here basically prefer belts from mysteel, neosteel, or tollyboy. But there is another expensive manufacturer out there that crafts handmade belts: Fancysteel. Has anybody ever had any experience with their belts? Can they be worn long time? Are they secure enough?

I have one. It needed adjustment at first but is fine now and is secure but I do NOT wear it 24/7 or use a secondary shield so it's not clear what my experience is worth.

Yes, you can, it is very safe belt and very well made, if you only care for avoid orgasm and sex, it is perfect.
However if the belt is intended to avoid all stimulation, as my case, then you need wear it tight.
In my opinion, you can read my review, it is a top belt.
I do not know why some keyholders do not trust it.
Thank you so much @Ines for your detailed account. It really helped me out. I hope I am not wasting your time, but do you think you could give us some updates on your review of the belt. You have been wearing it for over a year now, right? But first let me give you some updates on my situation.
When I first posted in this forum over a year ago, I approached the subject of wearing a belt with my then girlfriend now fiancee. At first she was not into it at all and the subject was put on ice for several month. When we got engaged the subject was brought up again and after several long discussions we might be far enough to move forward with buying one. Nevertheless my fiancee is still quite sceptic about the whole concept and I don't want to scare her off (hence why fancysteel is kind of appealing). So there is not going to be anything like tigh bands or chastity bra. The belt will not be worn 24/7, since I am not sure it is possible her doing lots of sports and working with little children (on the floor). So there will be a lot of unlocks and relocks, especially in the beginning and I am pretty sure she will have access to an emergency key all the time. So for now a lot will still depend on an honor system. That being said, I want the belt to be as comfortable as possible while still providing adequate protection while being worn.
In your review you said several things I would be curious to know:

In your review you said it needs to be (almost uncomfortable) tight and include thigh bands to prevent simulation. I would assume the same is true for other belts as well, is it not? Without thigh bands it would always be possible to achieve at least some stimulation, right?
Anyway I mostly care about her being protected when going out with friends or walking home after work. And if it also helps her from orgasming that would be more than enough for me. Because of the honor system she could sneak in something in the time she is unlocked by herself, but she would never do that, I trust her completely! Especially since I want to make sure she is satisfied in that department when I am with her.
Would you maybe make a recommendation about the type of model you think is right for my case? Based on your experience.

Well, I do not use it most of time with thigh bands. I only use them when it is necessary. FS is totally safe, ( I have old model, recently I discovered they have one newer model), and shield is bigger than it seems, however, I wear it very tight.
PaulE How would the comfort compare? I think in your review you said, that (because of the tightness) you cannot wear the belt for more than 3 days straight, is that still an issue after such a long time. Is your other belt (I think neosteel) more comfortable in this regard, even now?
I can wear it more time, but sometimes if I wear it a lot of time, and specially if I need wear bands, sometimes I have small bruises on my hip skin. They do not hurt, but they are there.
PaulE One of her major concerns is using the bathroom, while wearing the belt. Is there any difference you can tell us, which one of your belts is easier to handle/clean while using the bathroom?
I do not like so much talk about this... but at the end it is part of share experiences... Yes, due I wear it tighter, when I go toilet is but more... spray...

It is my only hip belt. I can not compare, but it is comfortable.

Yes, but you should note that other belts have a rigid plate between waist an crotch, since FS uses cable, it has to be very tensed to avoid bending. Yes, without bands you always can slide something or reach outer places under shield.

I always recommend a good belt, rightly measured, and bands only for sometimes. FS is the nicer design, however, I think my model is nicer than current one.

That's a major concern for both of us. She considers wearing the belt mostly because she often feels unsafe walking alone after dark. Don't get me wrong, I don't know and could be wrong, but the belt should not primarily be safe enough for her to break out, but for somebody else to break in.
Is it as, or even more comfortable then the standard waist band?

I don't really understand, when exactly are they necessary. Do you mean you were them when you are at risk? (At risk of what?) Or do you mean you wear them when it is possible and not super inconvenient? I am sorry if I don't understand your English correctly. It is not my first language.

As far as I understand you are a somewhat willing wearer and can choose your belt. Which one is your go to belt nowadays? Which belt do you pick when staying at home, which one do you pick when going out/working/studying? What is your main criteria which belt you pick out? And which one do you were more often? If so, do you do it because of hip/waist or is it the fs design?

That always sounds so uncomfortable to a man, but you already said, that it is not, right? Maybe because we do have different physiology, but a more rigid shield sounds way better, than something more flexible but pressed hard against you.

Nope. It's steel cable, and if the diameter of the waistband is smaller than your hip structure, it's not coming off without bolt cutters. It's as simple as that.
This doesn't appear to be your partner's kink (yet), but it's nice that she's willing to share. I would suggest a cable belt to start with too. Please just take it easy and let her explore it without expecting too much. There's a lot of misinformation online that skews people's perceptions.
Regarding exercise, I wear mine under yoga pants....I've taught a few classes with it on, but I would prefer not to. I think anything more energetic would hurt. I wouldn't even think of suggesting that to her.

Well, they are necessary when we will have enough time alone. Use them for go to work or even go out with friends is a nonsense. Use them at night or when I am going to be alone in home, obviously, mandatory if there is not a good reason, (which can exist, of course).

I could be wrong too but I don't think you have any idea what you are talking about. As I reported in my intro I was assaulted twice before I started wearing mine so I wanted to get a good one, regardless of price and I did. Don't cheap out on this. My father had to put it in a vise to help me fit it so I don't quite see how a strong man could get it off an unwilling person.

Totally agree, I have played, even, some matches in the yard, but no more of that. Even they cause redness.
