Is Fancy-Steel a viable option for secure long time wear

yes, i wouldn't want to deny anyone's knowledge either, but i've seen films by fancysteel and i can't imagine that it's safe.

High-tech. I wrote that I think sooner or later some parent will like the remote unlocking and GPS functions enough that they get such a belt for their offspring. You replied "i don't think the belt built by fancysteel is useful for daily use", so I was asking in what way you think it isn't suitable for daily use.

Shield is not as small as it seems.
Before test it, we thought the same, for that I have smaller chain in thigh bands, the block piece...
And it is not necessary, if you wear it tight enough.
I can not talk about the cable design, but the one with standard frame is very good.
I did not know they provide belts for films, however, it is not the same an atrezzo belt than one properly measured.

Yes... well, it is the same problem we talked in other threads.
The belt is safe, but the cables, if you do not wear it very tight can make wearer try to bend them. Girl could not achieve nothing, but we will try it.
So, partially I have to agree with advantages of the tightness.
If usage do not take in account the risk of anxiety, is not necessary to wear it so tight, and the belt will be safe too, but I have to wear it very tight.
I do not complain, the belt allows me buy a lot of clothes, and I am avoiding using of the block piece that it is the worse, so it is bearable.
