It is completely understandable that there are few openly gay members of right-wing parties when that party is aggressively homophobic and regularly gives people who want to criminalize a sexual orientation, defend abusive "conversion therapies" or legalize straight-up lynching a platform. When the most homophobic policy of a right-wing party is that gay couples should not be able to enter the same sort of marriage as straight couples, those parties probably seem a lot more palatable than US Republicans. It is easier to find common ground with someone who wants to deny you benefits than with someone who wants to deny you your existence.

Personally, I am in favor for far fewer hangups about nudity. It is simply a matter of living and letting live; if there is something you do not want to see, it is your own responsibility to endure it or look away. And little children are probably the least likely to be driven to inappropriate thoughts at the sight of a naked person.

Though I am inclined to agree with you on a small point here, that the context of a pride parade, where sexual attraction is inherently a part of the celebrations, is probably not the best time to push the envelope on nudity acceptance if your message is supposed to be that being nude in front of others is not about involving them in your sex life.

                                        Not at all: @Sin described it perfectly, gays who belong to the right tend to be conservative (that's why they are right-wing 😄), gays from the most "disruptive" groups are often associations, they are politically linked to the left and the extreme left, at least in my country.

                                          so i have to agree with @Ines on many things here, the question you have to ask yourself is: how would you see it if it is not a parade for sexual openness and sexual identities? what if it is a bdsm parade? i have been to such a parade myself out of interest and showing visibility doesn't have to mean standing naked in the street.

                                          i think it is more important to live together peacefully in everyday life, i kiss my girlfriend in public, but i don't touch her shirt in front of everyone and touch her breasts, that belongs in private.

                                              From the different posting I see we have not comparable situation in our countries. This makes is difficult to understand how it is in your country.

                                              Once I saw a Pride parade in the USA. At first I didn't know what the rainbow flags and rainbow unicorns meant, but quickly found out. I was impressed how openly they showed what big company they were from and how proud they were to be supported by their company. It was a happy parade and they had fun. OK. Two young women couldn't help it and had to keep showing their bare breasts from a float. But was the exception. Other than that, I didn't see any naked or semi-naked people. Since I saw more here in Germany what was considered normal here. However, I have not seen here that they openly show in which company they work nor that the company supports them.

                                                    Do not get me wrong, it is well-written and there may be a time and place for it, but a topic where people discuss their valid, real and difficult struggles with their own gender identity is not it.

Many things can be poked fun at, the fact that the entire gender stuff came pretty much out of nowhere a couple of years ago or the fact that many genders are actually more like character traits than actual sexualities, or a copies of each other, the fact that genderstudies exists and that there are some social media "influencers" who may or may not have capitalized on this trend and so on.

                                                        There are many interesting, funny and questionable things about this phenomenon but to instantly throw a fit when someone posts a copypasta (which in itself should tell you that nothing of this post is to be taken seriously) without even knowing their intentions, just cause some sweaty Neckbeard doesn't like trans people or whatever and used it once , is just insane to me. Not being able to handle entry-level banter just makes a very, very bad impression of you.
