If coincidental, the only reason I can think of why there could be relatively many German wearers, is that it is more convenient to have the dealer close by (for measuring/repairs/...) and speaking the same language, so that fewer people decide it is too complicated, like people from far away countries might decide. But would that consideration really stop a lot of people determined to keep their child pure?
