Any Germans here aware of the band Feuerschwanz? All of the members play a sort-of-medieval character, and the bio of their violinist's character lists her as "the swiftest chastity belt buster in east Lorraine":

Just think it is nice to have humorous references to medieval chastity belts in unlocked society, I guess similar to Men in Tights (though I have not watched that one).

    youdontknowme Men in Tights

probably because it doesn't improve the security of the belt, as well as it makes it pretty hard to wear pants

Not thigh bands, tights. That mix of leggings and stockings that is basically thicker pantyhose. Strumpfhosen. It is the title of a 1990s Robin Hood movie, where the key to Maid Marian's chastity belt is a plot point.

i know the band and when i listen to the music i probably know a few songs, but it's not really my taste (even though that wasn't really your question).

Angelina I personally like a lot of their music, but yeah, I was thinking more about a "chastity belt references in popular culture" topic than a Feuerschwanz-specific topic.

          I've seen it(a long time ago),but didn't remember the title,so thank you!😉

Angelina Not a musician, but apparently some 16 years or so ago, a show on a music TV station had a segment on contraceptives, and a chastity belt (worn by the host to show it off, but not locked) was among them. Cannot find any footage, unfortunately, just a reference on a German message board.

And of course, the business of Johanna von der Vögelweide is breaking them open, not putting them on.
