I was hoping that would never come up. The movie didn't really distinguish those from just regular shackles at all in the 5 seconds on screen. You only know those knives were supposed to be chastity belts by googling some sort of directors commentary. At the same exact time the man was chained way worse sooo @Sin

i agree with you but look at it from another point of view. if the manufacturers didn't do this, then maybe they wouldn't exist anymore and you (someone who really wants a chastity belt) wouldn't be able to buy a belt because there are no manufacturers anymore. 😉

We have talked about this many times, but it is unpleasant that manufacturers target the fetish scene.
I understand that they have their business to support, but I do not like it.
Selling belts to those who want to deny them is probably more profitable than selling them only to people who want to avoid them.
I know that it is inevitable, and exaggerating, it would be as if a mother felt guilty because she bought a knife in the same store as a murderer.

I'm not sure but I presume so. Fancy Steel have some leather and steel hybrid belts that have a similar aesthetic. Although I'm pretty sure the latest Mad Max was actually shot in Africa so they could have come from anywhere really... they had some pretty talented designers working for them, they could have made them out of car parts!

I would argue that most of the belt manufacturers have always been more about the fetish aspects. Well, except for those who consider them mostly a fashion accessory. And even then it is often fetish fashion. I doubt preserving any sort of purity has been a priority for any of them. Might be a bit of a misunderstanding here, I was talking about a parent/offspring relationship, not about pre-pubescent wearers. People who are familiar with chastity belts as BDSM implements are usually also horrified to see a keyholding arrangement between parents and their adult sons and daughters

If they think about the belt as a sex toy, (it is OK I do not agree but I do not make criticism), it is obvious that they are shocked, but belt has other dimensions, and I dare to say that probably "standard" use was prior to "kinky" usage.

I am just saying that it might be hypocritical for you to proclaim their use improper while complaining about them proclaiming your use improper.

As far as I am concerned, both uses are equally valid and may have overlaps. Whether you consider a chastity belt a sex toy or a tool depends on how you use it, it is not intrinsic to the belt itself.

yes i admit that i might be a bit too harsh, but after such a long time in the belt my feelings might be a bit crazy. i think i have to learn that people would not take the belt seriously, even though it makes me angry. sorry for my freak out
