  • Potential Improvements if Chastity Belt Becomes Mainstream

The advantages would mainly occur in the social and material spheres.
In the social field, that many girls began to wear it would be positive for those of us who currently wear one. I am not ashamed and I believe that if I saw myself in a situation in which a third party noticed the belt, I would know how to get out of the situation with ease, but it would not be pleasant, for comparison, we are all careful when we wear a skirt, but if I am not careful, no one is going to think anything strange about seeing our panties, with a belt it is different. And the truth is that, at least for me, I occupy my head more than I would like to think of combinations and ways to hide the belt.
With more girls, this would disappear.

A few days ago I explained, here the behavior of many of my colleagues at the university is shameful, some of them resemble animals in the reproductive season, which perhaps at a biological level is not inaccurate. With a generalization of the use of belts, their flirtations would surely be calmer and, incidentally, their search for a partner much more careful, which, at a biological level, is also much more effective.

Being able to go places with the belt as Sara has said would be fantastic since it would save the need for breaks and the tension that comes from managing that freedom that in principle we should not have, even for me who for a long time had the belt more time in the closet that on my waist.

In my opinion, in principle all women should wear a chastity belt, I think it is something that helps us commune with our feminine essence and, in general, makes us happier. But, the truth is that this in the real world, does not happen. Each woman has a series of circumstances and many reject this and forcing them not only seems useless to me, but it would also create enormous and unresolvable conflicts, within the families and see the girls' background as well. If suddenly the number of women with chastity belts increased voluntarily and even enthusiastically, I think it would be fantastic and it would value a much better and less toxic model of women for ourselves.
On a material level, of course the design, not only of the belt that should be more combinable and with the possibility of aesthetic decorations, brooches, bows, but also the availability of clothes already designed for it, summer dresses, pants, nightgowns, summer pajamas shorts with velcro for thighbands, the options would be endless.
The metals of the belts themselves could be different as there would be more interest in their development, there would be more designs...
And I am sure that if I put something else, more advantages would occur to me.

I think there are of course several things that could be improved. if the belts were mainstream, there would automatically be a high demand and a higher supply, then custom-made belts would also be a bit cheaper.
the bra should not have chains as straps but normal ones (maybe still made of metal). the same applies to the chains on the thigh bands, which could be replaced by flexible metal bands.
my final suggestion would be to remove the padlocks and replace them with fingerprint locks and only allow manual opening in an emergency

Angelina which could be replaced by flexible metal bands.

Bad idea, flexible metal sheets, or even cables have a shape that they will tend to return to always putting some pressure.
The chain, I am afraid, is irreplaceable.

Ines The chain, I am afraid, is irreplaceable.

I'm afraid you're right, I'm still considering alternatives because I don't want the wearers of chastity equipment to look like prisoners

Angelina chains feature quite prominently in things like jewellery, biker wallets, mail armor or punk accessories without making the wearer look restrained.

I think if they do get popular it will be like the slim-line Fancy Steel variety, so more like a bikini as opposed to a bulky pair of nanna underpants. I can see the plate on the sacrum becoming quite decorative, like in the Britney Spears visible panty line era. The opposite of a tramp stamp!

I'm not a big fan of the rubber / silicon tubing over the steel cables, but it's a necessary evil for now. Maybe there's a better looking way to protect the skin.

More choices in the colour of the metal, like rainbow coloured stainless steel, or gold, silver, platinum, black chrome etc.

High tech materials that are flexible but unbreakable, like some kind of military grade soft fabric where you can still move and stretch without being cut in half.

And like @Angelina said, smart locks will be the norm, with wifi connectivity, pin codes, fingerprint scanners etc.

Sin I can see the plate on the sacrum becoming quite decorative, like in the Britney Spears visible panty line era.

Blinging up chastity belts would happen at light speed in such a society! The willingly belted would proudly show it off, and the reluctantly belted would use it as a way to reclaim the icon of the freedom they were denied.

A visible waistband should be fine

Any messing with someone's belt - like putting glue in a lock - should be assult.

Bidets in public toilets, work, school etc.

Will need easier and faster purchasing - like mass produced belts which local shops can trim the bands on for a custom fit.

A major downside: I would love to be able to talk about my chastity or Goody’s chastity as casually as discussing my exercise and diet plans. But more public acceptance of chastity also means there will be more people in belts who don’t want to be there. And while it’s fun to hypothesize lawmaking scenarios, I don’t want any more real-world reluctant or unwilling wearers. Normalizing it puts many more women and men into belts.

                Saintprudence

However, if it becomes more popular, many of the reasons that can turn many girls away from this world will probably disappear. It may mean more volunteer girls.

One other aspect we need to consider: If chastity belts were mainstreamed and normalized, there would be many more male volunteers than women offering to be locked up. Male chastity devices outsell female by a wide margin even now!

Saintprudence mind you, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but as this site primarily focuses on female virtue, we should at least be aware that there would be a small army of men volunteering to be locked!

Ines We do not look as prisoners at all.

these are harsh words, but sometimes when i look in the mirror it feels like this

youdontknowme chains feature quite prominently in things like jewellery, biker wallets, mail armor or punk accessories without making the wearer look restrained.

of course there are also counter-examples, i just write how i sometimes feel about it. not always, but sometimes.

Saintprudence And while it’s fun to hypothesize lawmaking scenarios, I don’t want any more real-world reluctant or unwilling wearers. Normalizing it puts many more women and men into belts.

i think talking openly would be a big step forward, regardless of whether it is voluntary or not. i already wrote at the beginning of my time here in the forum that it would be nice to be able to discuss mysteel or neosteel like the discussion about samsung or apple. 🙂

Saintprudence mind you, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but as this site primarily focuses on female virtue, we should at least be aware that there would be a small army of men volunteering to be locked!

i don't see this as a big problem, but some find male chastity generally wrong

                    • Rina replied to this.

I guess so, male chastity community is actually more mainstream than female chastity. The majority of chastity devices available online are like male chastity cages.

Even if it gets more normalized, its origin (BDSM community) would still bother lots of conservative people.

Angelina discuss mysteel or neosteel like the discussion about samsung or apple

I wish I can create a chastity belt startup and make chastity belt that is more advanced and comfortable, as well as more affordable.

I wish I can make three lineups, male, female, mtf trans-friendly, like any chastity belt manufacturers. However, I might focus a lot more on designing perfect belt for mtf transgenders as:

                      1. I can test it on myself! Trying to wear any prototype belts and try to do routine things on myself would help a lot in improving the quality of the belt. I wish I can model myself in it too!

                      2. It is something I really want to distance myself from but “sissy” BDSM community would want some belt that really look like female belt but work on male body.

Also on all lineups I really want to make something unique.

Like trying to put emphasis on keyholder - wearer communication and trust, safety for wearers in both security of belt and protection from abuse of the keyholders.

Visual design of multiple choices like colors, belts and accessories with more friendly look. (So it won’t look like medieval item but look more like sleek “underwear”)

Designed with both comfort of wearer during all of routine behavior and security in mind.

Which chastity belt never has ever been like.

Rina I wish I can create a chastity belt startup and make chastity belt that is more advanced and comfortable, as well as more affordable.

if you have some money you can certainly give it a try. you wrote that you see a gap in the market especially among transgenders and yes transwomen certainly want belts that look like women's belts. you might be onto something hot there. if you think there is a market for it you might really want to give it a try 😉

Rina I can test it on myself! Trying to wear any prototype belts and try to do routine things on myself would help a lot in improving the quality of the belt. I wish I can model myself in it too!

I know from Fancy Steel he test the belt by himself and test every design with different peoples. Male and female.
I see the problem that some people are not symmetrical. This can cause problems with standard designs.

Rina Adjustability. So many cheap knockoff Chinese belts have adjustable design …

Yes. I agree completely. Adjustability is extremely important. I like the fact that my cheap, Chinese belt is infinitely adjustable, and not merely in one-inch or one-cm increments.

I have tried to make the same argument on at least one prior occasion.

Rina …special mechanism that allows adjustment only when it is not worn …

My cheap Chinese belt satisfies this requirement. Another reason why I love it so much.
