i think talking openly would be a big step forward, regardless of whether it is voluntary or not. i already wrote at the beginning of my time here in the forum that it would be nice to be able to discuss mysteel or neosteel like the discussion about samsung or apple.

I guess so, male chastity community is actually more mainstream than female chastity. The majority of chastity devices available online are like male chastity cages.
Even if it gets more normalized, its origin (BDSM community) would still bother lots of conservative people.

It is something I really want to distance myself from but “sissy” BDSM community would want some belt that really look like female belt but work on male body.
Also on all lineups I really want to make something unique.
Like trying to put emphasis on keyholder - wearer communication and trust, safety for wearers in both security of belt and protection from abuse of the keyholders.
Visual design of multiple choices like colors, belts and accessories with more friendly look. (So it won’t look like medieval item but look more like sleek “underwear”)

if you have some money you can certainly give it a try. you wrote that you see a gap in the market especially among transgenders and yes transwomen certainly want belts that look like women's belts. you might be onto something hot there. if you think there is a market for it you might really want to give it a try

I know from Fancy Steel he test the belt by himself and test every design with different peoples. Male and female.
I see the problem that some people are not symmetrical. This can cause problems with standard designs.

Yes. I agree completely. Adjustability is extremely important. I like the fact that my cheap, Chinese belt is infinitely adjustable, and not merely in one-inch or one-cm increments.
I have tried to make the same argument on at least one prior occasion.

i agree 100%, chastity belts are not cheap and more research should be done to develop belts that still fit when the person weighs +-20 kilos.
Hmmm, well, chances are not bad for them to become mainstream in the gay community what would give the devices for males a further improvement. You could also see the change go on over the years.... when I started being locked up 6 years agoit was not particulary easy to find a good cage online. Most of them were either of bad quality, completely overpriced or both - apart from some premium brands which already existed back then.
Today you can easily find a good and cheap cage on Amazon or Ebay, or have one 3d printed for you.
There are also some new brands like BehindBarz or Cocoon which started there business one / two years ago.
I think the quality of belts will definitely improve among all price ranges, like it did for male devices. And after that more and more people will understanf what you mean when you say "I'm locked" what is really nice... it's just very intimidating always habäving to explain what chastity is and why you like it... people will know what you are talking about.
And who knows, maybe some day people don't need to hide the belt anymore in public. There'd be even more and cheaper professional chastity keyholding services and so on... and maybe one day there'll be chastity belt service shops in shopping malls... or belts and cages in clothing shops. Maybe clothing that have a hole in them so you can see the locked belt through them, or pants which get attached to (and removed from) the belt (when necessary), sort of to use the chastity belt also as belt for the clothes. ... maybe there'll be pants with zippers in the leg parts from top on, so that they can be worn with thigh bands.

yes, that would be an advantage for many who really want a belt, but you have to keep in mind that branded belts are made specifically for the body shape. it's not so much the belt as such, but rather the work that goes into making it that makes it expensive.

Belts would make a nice fashion accessory. I mean, goth/punk subcultures already deck themselves in cuffs, collars and decorative chains, so restraints for fashion are not exactly unheard of. And some belts are just beautiful.

Well ... yes and no. You do give up control over parts of your body to someone else, so you are sort of imprisioned. But this imprisioning is what can also set you free. It's dependent on whether or not you ejoy being locked if this imprisionment is something good or bad.

well i have a few friends in the scene and although you are right i have to say that even there i would never show the chastity belt completely openly, at some point the friends would surely ask me where the keys are.
frankly, i feel less locked in by the equipment as such, but more by the dependence on my key holder (i.e. my father) to let me out again in the necessary moments.
