Of course I discuss everything and of course I have a saying. I just don't have the final saying. When you got your chastity bra he hadn't even asked you before. So obviously it's not you who has the final saying in your family.
Angelina i have to follow basic principles but i can say when i go too far and when i disagree (and fear that without consequences). We have punishments only for what I do or if I behave rudely.

Same here, but like with your father there are red lines we are not allowed to cross and I don't see that they are far away from eachother.
Angelina we introduce a new rule at home, we draw up a contract together, which we discuss and sign. we both get an execution of it. the rule is precisely stated in the contract and the penalty if the rule is broken.
I would not want it that way. I think it leads to micromanagement and to less freedom. I know the rules I have to follow and the idea behind it. Acting against the idea is as direspectful and disobedient than acting against the word sense of the rule. I also think it's reasonable that the punishment is not always the same. If I have a good reason, nothing should happen, if it happened on accident the punishment should be not that hard as when I did it on purpose, if it is recurring it's again a different story. So a written contract is not what I think is a good way to work with rules.

I think it's the exact opposite. It's never arbitrary, I never received a punishment and didn't understand why it was administered.
