I have experienced it.But it is not always possible.In my case,we break-up because,even if we liked each other and the sex was great,we both didn't love each other.So we decided to quit the relationship,but stayed friends.When,some times after,we were single at the same time,one day,when I spent time with him in his home,we had sex,and it was as great as it used to be.

We decided to continue to do it,but with a few rules:we should not fall in love(except if both of us fall in love),if it starts to be the case,we should stop;we should stop as soon as one of us started to date someone else;and we should keep it secret.

It was very pleasant,and stopped when I started to date my next girlfriend.Soon after,he met someone too,and we never had the opportunity to resume it.But I don't regret it at all..
