As described in the introductory thread, we are currently looking for a belt for my soon to be wife. We have spend countless hours digging through manufacturer websites. As of right now, the MySteel TOTAL with a continuous crotch band model is our top contender. MySteel is our top choice (as of yet), since they seem to focus most on adapting the belt to the wearers individual body. They do provide a considerable amount of information and guides in their FAQ on what to choose in order for the belt to fit best.

However, my soon to be wife has a significantly protruding pubic mound. To test the waters, we already own a cheap Chinese belt. The biggest issue with it was serious pressure and rubbing on her pubic mound. This is why we particularly focus on that issue. We are aware, that these belts do not represent good quality and we ordered it with this in mind. Unfortunately MySteel does not provide any information - as far as we could find - on this issue of a protruding pubic mound.

That's why we would love to hear your experiences. Does any of you have the issue of a protruding pubic mound? Which belt do you wear? Can the MySteel TOTAL belt be adapted to a protruding pubic mound? Are there belt manufacturers that takes this issue into consideration?

    You can ask directly my-steel or you can visit them (I understand that you ar German), discuss this topic, see and try some belts. I thing this is the best. And they can measure your wife and prepare belt exactly for her.

        dvoraks Thank you for your input. We will definitely ask directly as soon as we decide that My Steel is indeed the choice to go with.

        But maybe someone in this forum has/had the same issue and can report on other manufacturers that have dealt with this issue in a satisfactory manner.

            cantsolvethecaptcha i do not know how is it now with neosteel - if or how company continues...but mzsteel and neosteel are in Germany and is possible direct contact, consultation, visit. By my-steel can fit belt directly on your body.
            What do you mean by "protruding pubic mound" - how? how much? Belt has to be shaped to the body and close/ tight to the body so that it does not move or rub

Devices tailored to one's own needs are such a fundamental cornerstone of a positive chastity experience. The more options arise to get that tailoring, the higher the chance to get that experience.

                              i wear a mysteel TOTAL myself and can actually recommend it. but i admit that although i am a woman myself, i had to google what the problem is, maybe i didn't understand it very well in english. for such special things, i would write an email directly to the manufacturer.

                                    Sorry in case I didn't express myself clearly. The shape of her pubic mound is closer to the (slightly exaggerated) one depicted on the left hand side (https://imgur.com/a/MRYnuyl).

                                    We are worried that a tight and snug fit of a chastity belt is not possible with that prominent shape.

                                    Of course we will address this issue with the manufacturer as soon as we decide on one!

                                          @cantsolvethecaptcha I like Fancy Steel but in your case I don't think their standard designs will work for your wife. The metal tubing that the shield mounts to is very solid and as such, it can't really be bent into shape.

                                          I think the more traditional designs will work better for you (ie. MySteel etc), because the flat shield can be bent easily to accommodate your wife's pelvic structure. I think @Jen had to do this with hers to make it comfortable.

                                          In any case, a custom belt with a fitting at the manufacturers is always the way to go. ;-)

                                            Hi, mine was hard to bend - it's got the dome shape and needed to bend it in tighter on the dome bit. Higher up it's flat and bend easy.

                                                as @Sin has correctly pointed out, there is a small margin with mysteel as far as bending and shaping the belt is concerned, i have a mysteel total. i don't know how big the margin is though, as i said before contact the manufacturer, the risk would be too big for me

Yes, at least with My-Steel belts it is very well possible to adapt the belt to more unique body shapes - like a protruding pubic bone. Even when choosing specially shaped elements like the convex shield design.

                                                    In my experience My-Steel is the best adress when it comes to one-of-a-kind requirements.
