That is a terrible reason to show your belt in public. I am not saying anything against showing your belt in public because it is practical to take of whatever is covering the belt or anything, even if you do wear the belt for play reasons, but ig you deliberately show the belt to satisfy some exhibitionist fantasy, you are essentially making bystanders participate in your sex act, which I would consider a big no-no.

that's true, but that's why i don't use public showers/changing rooms, because there are things i don't want to see (i also have hygiene reasons)
when someone enters a public space, he/she must expect to see something that is outside of one's comfort zone

The purpose is to wash thoroughly beforehand and if there are no cubicles it means that everyone can see when I take off my baders. Now it's up to each individual to look at me explicitly or not. Out of consideration and because it is decent, one should not do it. When I wear a CB now, I don't expect the others to see at me like usually.

I don't think that prudeness is the main reason. A normal naked body is normal in Germany, a person in a chastity device is not.
