  • Getting The Most From Your Adjustable Steel-Cable Belt

I created this topic so that we would have a single, central location to post tips, tricks, hacks, and helpful hints regarding adjustable steel-cable chastity belts.

I hesitated for a long time before setting this up, because I know that only a small percentage of you have the same belt that I have:

(My belt is identical to photo #4, and this is the actual eBay seller I bought from)

, and probably only a small percentage of you are considering the purchase of same.

audioguy58 I have different kind of cable belt and had to modify it to be even somewhat secure. It probably has to do with the fact that I'm fat šŸ¤£

I ended up shortening the fixed wire tubes at the upper side of the shield so it can be worn higher, which still allowed for pulling out but made it harder. Then I glued two pieces of actually coaxial cable between the top of the shield and edges of the penis tube which made pulling out impossible even when worn significantly more loose and made it even comfortable while still secure.

Iā€™m a cis-gendered male, and I wear a male belt, so if your situation is anything else, my advice might not be very relevant or helpful to you.

Philip The belt is fully adjustable, which is its greatest strength, but arguably its greatest weakness. Itā€™s kind of like having the freedom to drive your car into a ditch, or into a lake.

To answer your question, yes it is very secure.

    Hope that was helpful.

audioguy58 yea that was kind of helpful.

I would of never considered getting one as i thought the would not be secure.

      Is it comfortable?

      Do you wear it 24/7?

the belt looks a bit like you could cut the strap with a child's shears, doesn't look safe

Angelina it is stainless steel wire rope, IIRC about 3mm diameter. It can probably be cut with normal diagonal pliers but it will be a lot of effort, for cutting that you really want bolt cutters (or angle grinder).

Obviously in comparison to normal belt it is easier to cut, but it is not that easy.

dsnke, i would have imagined it to be easier, but probably because i compared it to my own very safe straps.

Angelina Your belt is probably order of magnitude harder to cut than you imagine. There is a reason why it is produced by laser cutting.

But on the other hand both the clamps that hold the wire and the tubes that the wire goes through are cast from some kind of copper alloy. You can probably cut through that using a nail file in half an hour.

Joh I think that the correct engineering name of the material is ā€œChinesiumā€ šŸ¤£

I am not engineer, but I work in that world, and I agree.
However, the Chinese surprise you in both ways, usually in the bad...
But sometimes they have very poor quality system components and other times, on the other hand, for a part that in Europe or the USA would be made of polymer or microfusion, you go to China and see that the part that is not going to wear out is made of indestructible and expensive chrome vanadium steel.

In my field, more than the materials, the Chinese have to monitor quality control and finishing.

Rafael The problem is not in QC, but in knowing what you manufacture and how well specified it is. Chinese are kind of experts in perfectly consistently manufacturing the wrong thing. In the west when something is not specified the manufacturer will either ask for clarification or use common sense, Chinese manufacturer will do whatever is cheapest and call it a day.

For some reason this effect is also visible in products that are designed in China. Apparently even in that case there is some kind of disconnect between product designers and production engineers. I donā€™t know, maybe the design is even done by people who have no idea what exactly the product is and how it is used.

That is the thing - there are some Chinese companies that make great products, but those also have development and marketing people that keep a close eye on the whole thing. You can manufacture to any price point or quality level in China, and the high end is as good as anywhere else in the world, it is just that the low end can get much wore.

In my field it is a serious problem with medical instruments.

it is much more massive. i wouldn't say you can't cut it, but it takes a lot of effort

Maybe everyone has some misunderstandings about Made in China. I am engaged in the field of mechanical automation and the production process of products. The Chinese market is different from anywhere. His competition is very fierce, and the market share is far more important than profit margins. The chastity belt exporting to your country is even cheaper than domestic, which is difficult to see in any other country. We are fully capable of producing world -class products, but for the maximization of benefits, we can only switch to more cheap products to occupy the market and prevent ourselves from being suppressed by competitors. This belt is very ordinary and very bad in the eyes of everyone here. This kind of steel wire belt can be opened immediately by moving back and forth to loosen the screw behind the waist. It's really ordinary, but because it's simple, it can be DIY. For example, use insulating tape to wrap the steel wire connection at the back and the lock head at the front. If you grind your legs, you can put a plaster on the inner thigļ¼ŒThis chastity belt needs to be tightened to be comfortable.Chinese products are often like this, because of mass production, in order to ensure production, we have to omit many delicate steps, and what you get is often a semi-finished product.

I think the bad opinion about chinese products is due to the fact that the chinese market is more concerned with quantity than quality, which makes the individual product cheaper, but also worse.
