    Exactly the same as Laura, except my Mom reintroduced me to a childhood friend who I fell in love with and married.
    If that didn't happen I don't think I would have met anyone at the store I work at and I wouldn't have done online dating. So without my Mom socializing me I probably would be the same forever. 🤷‍♀️

              i actually don't think it's a bad idea, of course it should always be a free decision, but i really appreciate the family atmosphere in southern european cultures. when i see how many people here in germany move out at 18 just to be alone, i think it's nonsense.
