Chastity belts at boarding schools in Venezuela

@Barbara I initially understood you started wearing a belt in preparation to moving to Spain to live with @Raquel, @Rafael and @Yolanda. I assumed you would have been the only person in your boarding school wearing one and was surprised to learn that they were not uncommon amongst the students. A few questions come to mind:

Are chastity belts common in Venezuela? From the forums they seem most "popular" in Germany, Spain and the US, and even then it seems almost no one (perhaps except @Maija?) , knows anyone outside their family who wears one.
Was there anything unusual about your boarding school? Perhaps affiliated with a religious institution?
Did the students talk much about their belts? How did parents hear about them as an option? Did any mothers wear as well?
If this was boarding school, with students away from home, how did students get released? Did the school administrators have keys to the student's belts?

no in general, but in social classes some girls use it mainly for protection

it is a good college for girls of good posiition, maybe a bit stricter than another colleges, but a private college well known for good families, usually for girls with not very perfomance in other colleges, majority of catholic girls, some baptists and few muslims

not constant but sometimes, specially when a girl comes back to college after a weekend without keys because she was punished, or to ecourage to put it they go out for protection.

i think it was started years ago for some girl of more high level and more conservative families, there were very few girls and as the situation deteriorated other parents and girls thought it was good to protect themselves, but they are still an absolute minority, at least in my school

very few, there is more risk for young girls, even i try my mother has to wear one as the aunts here

Bryan how did students get released?

some have the key and open and lock i for protection and another the parents in home have the keys and some a key in an envelope

Thank you for the detailed reply. It sounds like the belts were mainly used for protection (from others) and most of the students (who wore belts) had full access to their keys? Did those students wear them while at school or only when venturing off campus? I assume this was an all-girls school? Other than yourself, how many students would you estimate wore belts to which they did not have easy access to their keys?

well i went to a public school, i think it's good because people from different social classes come together there. there are problems with the outdated teaching content.

PS: we once discussed what a chastity-friendly culture could look like, i think we could draw from a few things from this boarding school to learn how something like this could be designed. 😉

Not everyone here is very good with English ,(I am a clear example), but if you are kind you will not have any problem.

most of girls used it when they went out of the school. in schools only few girls used it usually and some girls had to use it some weeks if they were punished in their homes at weekend.

In the US, "college" typically refers to post-secondary education (essentially the same as "university") but "boarding school" is usually secondary (or sometimes primary) education. What age range were the girls in "high courses" at your school?

no, i have not ever seen that until mine, when my parents have contact with maker, he said it was not the first time, but it is not common for him, specially in "export" belts we understood that in Brazil he had some other purchase with bands

Seems a bit scary to be off at boarding school in a belt without any access to the key! A wax sealed envelope definitely sounds like the smart way to go (I had pictured regular envelopes for some reason :-)

they were the first in family, and a lot of things were done with their experience, but currently a lot of things are different for us and when my parents come here, for sure we´ll have differences with my uncles

I was not in contact with all the girls, it was big college but among the few girls who wore a belt and I had more contact with them, it was unequal, some of them happened quite frequently, to punish misbehaving or getting low grades, and others never.
