Since there is a discussion arising about Access Denied (chastityco.com) in the "Increased Security" thread (off-topic), I though I'd create a separate thread. ( @Joh, @curious, @dvoraks).

Personally, I am slightly confused by Access Denied. There are various user experiences varying from great quality to poorly made chinese quality. Also, they still seem to be "up-and-running", however they have been out-of-stock for a long time - which is unfortunate since I quite like the aesthetics of their products.

Anyways, I would be happy about more insight.

As stated in the other threat, Access Denied (AD) was one of the early players in the market. As far as I know 2nd only after Tollyboy. Based in the US, they had a very good reputation for high quality products.
Distinctive feature was the plastisol covered front shield.

About late 1990s, the proprietor died and Access Denied was out of business.

Come late 2010s, the name re-emerged, obviously under new ownership. First reviews back then were quite displeased with quality and service. If and how much that has improved since I cannot say.

_The start of a new era
In 2017, twenty years later, Access Denied is being redesigned and recreated by Chastityco.com bringing the distinctive black finish and iconic name back to life with new, improved steel fittings.

The founder of Chastityco.com has been in the adult manufacturing industry for the last 5 years and is a massive fan of chastity belts and the original Access Denied product._

The owner in 2017 was https://fancysteel.com/ they operated separately. Unfortunately Chastityco.com is/was for sale at this time. I thought I heard of a sale; however, nothing has changed on the site in a LONG time.

My last information in 2022 it was still for sale.

      Joh last information in 2022

May I ask where you get this information from? I tried to research about Access Denied's fate but my trace ends around April 2021.

cantsolvethecaptcha I wish I remember where (or even when) I think I saw something about a sale. Unfortunately it is unverified and I don't remember.

There could have been a sale announcement, and it did not complete.

It was an announcement in another forum from Feb 2022 where Jay is member too.

They haven't produced a belt since like 2019 afaik.

They probably stopped producing them because they're likely unprofitable, especially with the amount of effort it takes to produce one, let alone living costs in australia. They've probably realised there's plenty of impatient customers willing to hand their money for a mass produced chinese product that is up-priced more than 5 times what you could possibly buy it for and that that is a more easier way to make money.

Assuming they're the same owners of fancy steel, that's also probably why the cable belts are actually a good business idea because they take little to produce in comparison

In all seriousness, don't bet on them coming back anytime soon.

        8 months later

Does anyone own one of these or have any recent experience with these belts? I have tried to reach out to the manufacturer, who I think is in Australia, and communication is spotty at best. I would not be comfortable sending money to them. The place where I took Susan last year for custom adjustments to her belts let me know that they have an Access Denied belt there that was never picked up by a customer and likely could be easily modified to Kate's measurements. The belts look very sleek and hard to cheat.

I want to give my youngest niece, Kate, an additional option to the NeoSteel and Mysteel belts she has now. As she transitions into long term wearing, I want to make sure she has something that is as comfortable as possible.

I read on other forums that it was one of the best before the business went out of business. In the meantime it has been brought back to life and as far as I know it is still owned by the owner of Fancy Steel. So it is a serious business but it doesn't say anything how good they react to emails.

I personally think it has the best design of all.

Maybe try Walter Goethals - Carrara Design.
Completely different concept of how a belt is created but maybe exactly for that reason a better alternative than just getting a 3rd belt that still follows the same basic florentine style design.

            The owner died suddenly.

Renita The ORIGIONAL owner of Access Denied passed away. It was eventually sold (after years) to the owner of Fancy Steel.

Last I knew; however, was it was for sale. It appears he wanted to focus on Fancy Steel vs. Access Denied. All Access Denied belts were out of stock for months now well over a year.

Good thing I went and looked today... SOME belts are back in stock.

are you sure you need a third belt? I know you mean it well, but aren't you overdoing it?

Just had a look at their website. Their belts do seem very reasonably priced compared to the German makers.

i got mine here from my keyholder: https://badassworkroom.com ... god-tier quality, fair price BUT they take forever to deliver. she told me it took about 4 months and several e-mails with specifics and questions, till the job was finished and she received the cage. but it is so comfortable to wear and i can't complain the slightest.

I'm talking about the US one from New York.

I thought the new AD belts had thinner material and a low security lock?

Angelina I don't think so. I want Kate to wear something that she feels comfortable in. Since she is committed to this I want to eliminate anything that may cause that commitment to waver. We switch between the other two belts periodically, depending on how she feels and what she is doing that day. Adding a third one is not a major concern of mine.
