          We got lucky, I think. Brady was drafted in the sixth round. If the Patriots had any idea what he had it would have been foolish to leave him out there that long. And if it were obvious what he had somebody on the other 31 teams would have picked him up sooner than sixth.

            bdsamm Made it into early in the third quarter. Can't see the Broncos coming back to win this. Fun to see people who can move the ball. Watched on my desktop on Amazon. Have a 32" monitor and a perfect picture. Our dorms are old and are wired with coax cable so even on a good TV you don't get really top-notch reception so this was great.

                      I was happy with the chiefs performace and WOW the Pats won one.

                        I was able to watch the whole of the Chiefs game. 4-7PM. Nice. They are coming on strong.

                        Was at the gym at 1:30PM and saw the 10-0 Pats lead on the TV. What a surprise. Got home in time to see most of the game. Very exciting a the end.

                                Running's coming along. Less than a month now to NCAAs. Charlottesville, VA this time.

                                        The Cross-Country races will be on ESPNU the morning of November 18. Probably about 11AM New York time. Natch, it should appear in TV listings as the time approaches. No time listed yet on our schedule. In any case, the races (M+W) are almost always posted on YouTube a day or two later.

                                            Too bad about KC today. They didn't show it in Boston, we got the SF game instead. Pats lost again. Discouraging but not unexpected.

                                                    @bdsamm is a fan. I have a Boise State sweatshirt because I used to follow one of their runners (Allie Ostrander). They are also Broncos and their colors are almost indistinguishable from the Denver Broncos. Back when the Patriots were good and competing with Denver I was often upbraided around Boston for wearing what looked to people like Denver Broncos gear.
