I'd be frustrated too if your coach tells you to go for it on 4th and 25 inside your own territory.
bdsamm Glad to see you back. Missed your wisdom. The Chiefs lost first Regulation game and quarterback is frustated. What is going on with the Pars? Hope you are doing well and keeping up with your running.
Sam
Sam,
I thought about you, but had school stuff to do. I was amazed the Chiefs lost. The Pats, when they were good, often started slow, e.g. 2-2, and then went on to "The Big Game". Also amazed when the Bengals score came on just before the Pats game started. Glad Joe Burrow got his $55 million tho. Pats started their game very poorly, 2 scores given up on turnovers, but came back impressively against the defending NFC champions.
Running is good. Been back at school 4 weeks today to do team workouts.
OK, Now what do you think about the Jets "new" quarterback?

I think Wilson will be quite serviceable. I never liked Rodgers, too self-aware, kind of like Favre without the joie de vivre. I think Favre blew off practice on the first day of hunting season because he couldn't imagine life without hunting. I think Rodgers does things to get attention. Well. That's probably light on analysis.
Vikings/Eagles touchback.
I know a rule is a rule.
But that is some BS.
OK, Chiefs won and Pats lost to the fish. I could not watch the Chiefs because of the new deal with the NFL and Amazon but I could watch the Patriots. Interesting.

I didn't make it to the end. X-country training. Not clear to me why that game was deemed worthy of the night-time slot. Pundits said, when the schedules were first released, that we could start 0-4. We are 1/2 way there. Must beat the Jets, doubtful we'll beat Dallas.
Beating the Jets shouldn't be a problem with Aaron Rodgers out. Their backup threw 3 INT.
WriterAlexis but the Jets still won that game.

Yeh, now that Rodgers is gone. But at the beginning of the season, an 0-4 start looked like a good bet.
I was talking about yesterday's. 30-10 with the Cowboys.

While I am pleased to see the Steelers back at the top of the AFC north where they belong, that Ravens/Colts game ended egregiously. 1st game in NFL history where a kicker makes 4 50+ yard field goals. Would not have put money on Justin Tucker getting outkicked.
