Neosteel Measuring kit
Well, acetone is also known as “nail polish remover”, so it is generally safe. But well, it dehydrates the skin and you should do something about that.
The mechanical engineer solution to that is a random mix of gasoline, machine lubricant and CNC mill cutting fluid, but well, nobody will tell you what that thing even is, not to mention of what health issues it might cause.
Well after that disaster of trying to measure myself does Neosteel offer an measuring service? I am thinking it would be easier to fly to Germany and just get them to do it.
Philip
send them all measurements
if you're really concerned you can send them a photo and they can tell you what you're doing wrong.
The way I did my measurement for my cocoon belt using jura's own measurement kit (said to be the best male belt measurement kit currently in existence by those who have purchased from a wide variety of manufacturers) is that I did several measurements, then I quite literally wore it for an hour, if I felt something was wrong I'd adjust it.

Philip you can email jura directly but he may not respond for a long time (literally months) unless you purchase a belt when he makes them available. I managed to get the very last from last year's sale batch, which I kid you not, lasted literally a week or two. I think he limits purchases because he found that back in 2019/2020 he let in too many orders that some orders were literally delayed up to 3 years despite previously mentioning a 2 month production time. You could say his design is in very high demand. To be fair for him, he did have to move twice, and unlike tollyboy who wasn't able to set up shop in australia successfully, jura didn't just go awol for like 5 years.
I think the high demand is not just the fact that he has such an attractive model that's computer generated, but also because in the recent years, ontop of the lockdowns the famous belt manufacturers have had trouble lately whether it be the owner having health issues (rip neosteel's dr. mende and tollyboy's license copy - I forgot what they were called but they were based in USA and their owner passed away in like 2003, Access Denied once showed promise by reviving the Access Denied brand line after the previous owner passed away some two decades ago but figured it was less hassle and more profitable to sell chinese knockoffs than actually produced the Access Denied line) along with the fact that the increased awareness around belts and increase in demand with the widespread use of internet.
I'm sure there are many more related reasons.
It just occcured to me that while I'm not that old for these issues to be relevant to me, that a lot of the famous brands that kicked off the popularity of chastity belts in the first place died off long before many users of this forum even started existing.
I just realised how embarrassing this is, but you could say I have quite a bit of history knowledge because I did my research as part of my interest on the topic of chastity belts when choosing a premium belt (mind you I literally waited like 15+ years since I had an "addiction" problem since puberty basically hit me, before finally deciding on purchasing a "real" belt last year). Of all things I could be an expert in, I never thought that one of them would be on the topic of chastity belts fml, but hey I managed to stay a virgin but now I'm ironically so close to becoming a wizard.
Yeah the strat I used was basically to nag him like once a month or so. He'll reply to every third one or so, at least he did for me, lol
