Ines Corneum substrate is the outermost layer of the epidermis. Summarizing a lot, it is a layer of dead cells that has barrier tasks.
In my case,
In many years I have never had big scratches from the belt, I have had some small ones and pressure marks. The secret is to treat the skin every day, a lot of hygiene and cream.
That's why I always say that hygiene breaks are essential.
With the thigh bands I did have a serious chafing problem from using them for a long time while I was studying.
⚕️ Very good advice as always....
I only got some very bad infection once when I was very young and it was not a vaginal infection. I had a very hard sweat from lotsa exercise and I was so tired from taking a melatonin so I fell asleep still wearing sweaty clothes.
My stupid laziness caused me to grow athletes foot which spread up my shins and eventually up under my shield.
Like @Ines said this was easily cured with anti-fungal cream.
I have the same thing that @Jen is describing in that where the shield, band, and coated chains rests polishes my skin over time to it is extra smooth and even a bit reflective there. Personally it isn't red on me so I prefer the polished look never goes away.
I also have done the painless and affordable hair removal called "sugaring" so many times that I do not grow hair on my armpits, around my anus, in between my anus and vagina or on my legs. Sugaring works a little bit better if you do it by rolling it into your hair with the sugar slightly warm from working a ball of the sugar gel into a circle and letting stick only to the hair you wish to remove and not your skin.
A quick update on sugaring: I was unbelted earlier and I have regrown a thin triangle of hair above my mound and I will just leave it for awhile. A thin shot bit of hair here will not cause the hygiene issues that hair other places will and nobody needs a super bushy hair it will never be comfortable no matter what.
This is kind of personal but I mention this only because many girls who had laser were afraid of the idea that they would have no choice with how they wear their hair years later and she still wanted to express herself. With sugaring you can grow back hair but it is a smoother tamer hair and you do NOT have to worry about painful ingrown hairs. You also do NOT have to worry about getting burned with a laser especially as I am a slightly fair skinned white woman even if I have dark hair, and sometimes tan a bit during the summer.
I think everyone belted or not should know a bit about sugaring. Please share some of the tutorials you like.
The only difference in how I apply the sugar gel is instead of doing strips and pulling I gently roll it into balls when I remove hair near my vagina and I melt the sugar around the hair without touching my skin or my vagina with the sugar.
