@"Christine removed herself physically from the rules imposed upon her. Her mother can do the same any time by simply refusing to wear her belt, but to do so she would have to break her own rules. Either she accepts she was wrong about chastity, or she wears the belt until marriage. It's checkmate.

Yup. This is the crux of the matter. Chastity belts allow people to overrule or master some of their strongest bodily urges and to instead do what their minds have decided is right in the cold light of day.
I think your mother probably will choose to wear the belt you got her and to stick to her own rules. And I think overall this is the most remarkable turnaround I've read about on this forum!!

Sometimes I'll say to someone, at least partially as a joke but sometimes a little bit seriously, "perhaps you have to accept that you really do deserve to be belted." This is a bit of circular logic to me sometimes -- "clearly you are locked in a belt, therefore the evidence says you belong there" -- but in the case of your mother, she deserves to be belted and she deserved to remain locked until marriage and the keys handed over to the custody of her spouse.

Not quite, with @Christine it was also about the fact that she lived with her mother and was financially dependent on her until a few months ago, that's what I mean by different conditions. @Christine didn't wear the belt after she moved out, is there a comparable scenario with her mother?
