But what if you find a perfect partner who is exactly how you ever dreamed, except that he wants you to stay belted? Would you do it out of love for him? Consensually, but once you have agreed to it, you wouldn't have access to the key except for emergencies.
If so, you could maybe argue with your mother that it has to be his wish, too and that you don't want to make this aspect the only criteria for finding a new partner but you look for more important values.

Thank you! I’ve been lurking all along but the influx of the weird and creepy fantasy people was really putting me off.
