                                                    that's no wonder. even if i don't hope it for you, it can happen that you have to move back to her. if you had the belt yourself, you could make a key copy for this emergency, that's what she wants to prevent.

I accept that you'll never wear a belt again if that's what you choose, but you should not be given access to your own older belt. The only purpose it serves is ensuring your chastity, and if you're not wearing it, it's safest in her hands.

Though I imagine you will never again be belted once it comes off, so there’s less of a concern that you’ll undermine the security. Christine will be living under the prospect of being locked up for real again, and it’s less secure if she has access to tamper with it.
