Kaja I mean, when the child is young enough, parents have some control over that sort of stuff. Infant baptism (and in some cases circumcision) is perfectly normal in many places around the world, and parents clothe their children for many years before the kids get to really define their own style. Same with taking them to church, perfectly normal for parents to take their kids to church without asking, though I would argue that the idea behind confirmation rituals is that the teenager becomes a church member in their own right and is supposed to be making their own decision whether to belong to the church at that point in life.
Child marriage is luckily a thing of the past in most civilized countries, every person old enough to marry is old enough to decide for themselves. Same with conversion therapies and stuff like that, but there are still places where that abuse is possible.
As for veganism, "you eat what's on the table" is an involuntary treatment that goes both ways. But parents have a much more limited control of what the child eats when they are apart, and many teenagers will rebel against their parents' choices at some point. Which is a good thing, no matter what the outcome is.
