Yes, Sex on school premises. She apparently was naked in a car on school property.
Jane was not expelled, just suspended.
Neither she nor the teacher were arrested. But he was fired.
I am assuming Monica did defend her, not sure what more she could do. I think she just wants to problem to go away and not draw attention to it. I would do the same.

I tried and I found nothing about any student being suspended for having a relationship or sex with his/her teacher.
Can you help me finding it?

Milord Most of the news stories do not mention what happened to the student in these cases due to student privacy rules. In the four cases that I know of in New Jersey this year, the student was suspend from the school and referred for counseling or sent to a "private school" for the remainder of the school year. Interestingly, in two of these cases, and it looks like a significant percentage nationally, the teacher was female.

Tjc thank you. No crime was committed as both were adults. Apart from the embarrassment, there would be no reason for such a thing to make any type of newspaper I too am surprised when I see these stories that many of the teachers are females.

Milord School rules do not make a distinction about whether or not the student is an adult. In the US, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is very clear about what can be revealed about a student and their conduct. Perhaps it is a difference in our locations, but when I Google "student suspended for sex with a teacher" I get at least three pages of results (I stopped scrolling at three). About 90% of those reference specific cases of teachers having sex with a student. They do not mention action taken to the student, presumably due the school not releasing information due to FERPA.

Since you are so kind can you provide a link where I can read a story with a suspended student? If not suspended, punished in some way?

Searching on Google news, punishment for other kind of offense appears. Sex seems to be bad, according to Google, only for teacher.

Laura Jane has exhibited, at least in my opinion, incredibly reckless sexual behavior. Monica feels the only way to stop this is with the use of the belt. I applaud her. Had Jane been wearing the belt at school this incident would not have happened.

youdontknowme And I absolutely do, it worked with my girls, because we have a loving, trusting relationship. In this case though Jane was already out of control and her mother should have taken a firmer stance with her. Forced wearing won't work, as we have discussed exhaustively here, but she could have been more firm in her desire to have Jane wear it, like withholding her car, allowance, etc. if she didn't.
