WriterAlexis I want to keep my phone. I want to be able to go to the library. I need transportation to do certain things. I want to be able to leave the house unchaperoned, so I can work/volunteer, because those are important to my future and I want to be able to help people.

I haven’t read this before. As a parent I would encourage this, and I will be proud of my son should he decide to help others and volunteer.
In my opinion a parent should provide this, tied to economical situation, and not use it as a trade off to impose things (not only CB of course).

I second that recommendation. Most drugs that are for whatever kind of psychic condition (no matter if antidepressive or anti-psychotic or whatever require a slow weaning process. Stopping from one day to the other can be life threatening.

Maybe not as inspiring when it comes to standing up for a good cause, but definitely encouraging curiosity and nurturing independent thought. I’d just like to build on that mindset.
If fostering the desire for curiosity and the knowledge that if it’s not right we can change it, we must establish right and wrong first.
Because it’s natural that a young adult becomes curious about the darker side of the world, but it must only be observed from a distance.
Learn everything you can without going over there, so you can avoid it when confronted by it, and drive it out from places it shouldn’t be.

I believe you personally are way ahead of me on this and have already done so of course, just a friendly caution for anyone else who comes across this who may not be

I wasn't depressed either (at least not until I tried to get off them). I just had a shit geriatric obgyn who decided I was a horndog instead of treating me properly and referring me to a physio.

Sasha I think a library is a great place for that. Many authors have concerned themselves with the topics of where our lives are headed if people follow their base instincts first and foremost. Explored the delicate balance between liberty and peace. Told tales to inspire compassion.

It’s very easy to fall into though. Seeing how easily you can achieve wealth and power through violence can easily sway a young mind. And it’s a long road back if it exists at all

I cannot raise an army, I cannot radicalize followers, I cannot aggregate power, I cannot accumulate capital, I cannot shift the Overtun window, I cannot destabilize existing power structures. I'm not even a registered voter yet. I have been explicitly instructed not to contradict the teachings of the church, which was abjectly unnecessary because all my friends wouldn't listen to me anyway. Whatever I dabble in is unlikely to make an impact on this earth by a single iota. So I'm gonna send my opps everything I got because why the hell not?

It’s still worth mentioning people exercise caution, and do so with some guidance. That’s all I’m saying about it.

Sincerely, in my opinion, people should learn to use the weapons given by the environment, and do not comply about.
I mean, if environment gives me a sword, I have to learn to use it, and no complain because I would like more a lance.

Obviously it is my opinion, and I have a lot of friends complaining about "oh, and why we can not choose freely? or why do not have all the same weapon? ".
That is not my approach, even more, while they comply (and repeat, they are in their entire right to do it), I learn to use the weapon that I have.
