if it had like a modular waist bit that could be added without unlocking - it would help changing the pressure between hip and waist.
I generally find that having a well-fitted hip belt has less pressure than a waist belt simply because it is less narrow. My belts are "modular" in that I can use the same shields with different sets of cables and belts, but obviously it can't be done while locked. Having a mechanism that would allow switching belts is difficult to visualize, but an intriguing idea.
Other point is the shield - it goes over everything and pushes on the sides - so weeing isn't great and again the pressure. Could they do a custom 3d shield which was over and between lips... Stay in place while being less tight and custom position with a better urine path?
I greatly prefer my dome-style secondary shields because I dislike having any pressure on my vulva. (99% of the time.) Then I have a wide enough gap in my primary shield for the labia to fit in between. All of the pressure is on my recently cushioned mons and pubic bones.
As far as putting things between the labia, that would definitely make cleaning more difficult without unlocking everytime. Unless it was more like a catheter system, which is not a good plan for long-term wear.
