Realistic expectations
Milord I’m only responding once to this, you have several women myself included who wear continuously with few breaks. We do it and live with it.
We spent many months perfecting a custom fitted belt and adapting to it, we did not just dive in head first.
So if it’s not something your wife can manage that’s fine and I suspect she wouldn’t be the only woman who can’t. But that doesn’t mean that others can do it

Sasha Sasha, here
Sasha For me I’m actually in the belt and accessories about 19-20 hours of the day. Cleaning, letting my skin breathe, exercising, etc.
you said that you manage for 19-20 hours a day. This is more than my wife manage to do, but it’s not 24 hours per day. For me 20 over 24 is realistic. I know it can be done.
It’s the always locked on except for few minutes cleaning I feel it’s not realistic. But it’s not set into stone. I may think it is possible if someone can provide reasons. This is how it works for me. I give several reasons why I think it cannot be done. Feel free, if you want, to address my concerns.

I see the difference between a cable belt and a belt wich has a continue crotch part. It Starts at the Front of the waist belt and end in the Back of the waist belt. AS far as I know it IS Mad Out of one piece sheet metal. This minimise skin Irritationen.
youdontknowme There
are
always
choices
to get out.
of course, i mean now in a "non-emergency escalation situation"
Milord And if no one explain me how you can do I will not believe.
then don't believe me, but to call half the forum untrustworthy just because your wife has different experiences is presumptuous. i don't mean that unkindly, i have a lot of respect for what your wife does and of course it's totally ok if she can't wear it for longer than this a day, but that doesn't mean that others can't

Angelina thank for your kind answer. Can you please do a step further and explain me how you manage the various points I raised? Here I repeat them. It's ok if you oppose my idea. Just tell me how
Milord 1) my wife has an impressive resistance to pain. Beside this, if she resisted for 6 hours and other said that they can resist in for 12, 18… ok it’s personal. But here it’s 10 hours against 3 years. Now, I don’t know how much experience you have whith a female belt, but the area near the crotch, where every belt end, has the skin that is very thin. Tissues can chafe the skin. Can you imagine metal? Because the body change shape. And the belt is metal, doesn’t change.
2) Once chafing start, it will get worse and worse. The skin will redden and will start bleeding in the long run unless you remove
3) Skin need to breath, and metal is not something that allow for breathing. Especially in the most delicate part of a woman. This alone will cause irritation.
4) It needs a lot of breaks for cleaning
5) Even the best fitted belt, and I fitted and changed the belt several time to adjust to my wife body, is still rigid.

my body hasn't changed much (i know i'm the exception in this respect) and skin problems could be solved with ointment. because the belt fitted my body perfectly, i never had the problems you described
Milord Once chafing start, it will get worse and worse.
then the belt is not optimally fitted, the problem is then the belt, not the girl wearing it

therefore clean thoroughly once a day, perhaps even twice
Milord It needs a lot of breaks for cleaning
um....yes, I never said anything else
Milord Even the best fitted belt, and I fitted and changed the belt several time to adjust to my wife body, is still rigid.
here, too, the belt is the problem
@Milord
For swimming, doctor's appointments, etc, I get time out of the belt. I haven't had chafing problems in a long time, but when I did that was also an automatic break.
It's absolutely possible to go for weeks at a time with no breaks except for cleaning every 1-3 days. I don't do this often, but I have no problem believing that others have done it for longer.

This is true but you must clean every day. Also rigid belts hurt eventually and lead to bruising on the bony areas. Then long breaks are needed. Even if you lie in the wrong position in bed it can mean no belt wearing after.
