1. Do not use Windows. You simply have no control over what data the system tracks without your knowledge.
2. Use Tor (easiest via Firefox plugin)
3. Use a VPN.
4. If you wanna go crazy: combone 2 and 3. That should make your address hard enough to track so that nobody will put in the time and effort, unless there is evidence you are preparing a terrorist attack (in which case clandestine services worldwide will put their super computers to work to break through whatever concealment of your digital traces you attempt).

Make it even easier brave browser has TOR (and AD blocking) built in. Last time I looked when a company reviewed browsers for security and least communication with the creator... 1. Brave 2. Firefox and who'd think 3. Google Chrome.

For those who don't know. Brave, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge all are based on the open source project called Chromium.

Always remember this is a forum for a global audience. One might live in autocratic regimes, face "security agencies" and/or mighty companies known for misuse of power. then simply use a synonym or a false name. Angelina is my real name, but can I prove it? No!. I admit it's tricky, but on the internet we leave our traces all day long. If you want to be anonymous, don't use the internet at all.

No, not really. Most settings (e.g. https) should be enabled in any case. The add-ons only need to be installed. With noScript and the Mutliple-Account Containers you have to confirm at the beginning for the pages you visit how they should react and that's it. I have not had to make any settings for a long time.
With Tor you should know what you are doing and how it works. Otherwise it can happen that you give your data to the wrong people. But, in my opinion, if you have an active account in social media, you don't need to take it into consideration anymore.

Laura I thought I had to verify my email. So it’s not really anonymous. My parents have a lot of rules for my web use but as long as I follow them, my parents don’t look to closely or follow my chat history.

You just spelled "allowed" "aloud". On Dec. 5, 2022 in the Introductions thread CharInChastity spelled "allowed" "aloud". She lived partly in PA, knew much about cars, spoke poor English for an American.

Avery I have CAPD which is a hearing disorder that made learning to speak and spell correctly very hard. It’s taken me 19 years of practice to mostly be able to have a conversation with someone and understand it in real time. I’ve had speech theropist from like 3 years old until 15 years old. Maybe you should consider that someone might have a disability before you criticize them and make them feel like an idiot. 2 people on a forum of 100s spell the same word wrong. O well. I didn’t realize I needed to pass grammar class to post here.

If it is true that you have a hearing disorder we ALL sympathize with you. More likely you are a young person trained in a trade (hence the car stuff) who never had the opportunity to write much. That's OK.

The point is you and Charly are the same person, there are too many similarities, not just one word. People here should know that and they can react as they see fit.
