It would be unfair,and I think there would be a lot of resentment and anger in this case.

Not the best setting to help a woman accept and manage her chastity belt.And almost no chance she follows her parents' decision about not taking it off until her marriage.

I don't think preventing her to masturbate or to have sex are "good reasons"(except if she asks for it or agrees willingly),but at least,it is a reason in her parents' opinion,and I think a daughter can understand it,even if she doesn't agree.

There can be in my opinion only two reasons (parents) wearing the belt.

Light version : To preserve only virginity until marriage.
Hard version : To repress straight to sexual pleasure outside marriage. Because parents consider that sexual pleasure is a cause of depravity for the girl.

I see no reason other than these two.
