Hey, Happy Easter you all!
As churches are probably closed, at least they are here, I wanted to give you a little reminder when you can take part in celebrating the holy Mass by television

http://prntscr.com/rxhpfn (Germany)

The speech to holiday from the pope containing the Urbi et Orbi takes place at 12 AM (12:00)

The first german television (Das Erste) has a live broadcast, but as it's probably in Latin / Italian ... don't know which channel does broadcast it in your country... you might ask Google for that.

Have a peaceful, healthy and marry holiday you all!

Thanks. Here in Spain, we do not have trouble with search some channel to watch it.
So are you Roman Catholic too?

Ines Yes, I am. I strongly believe in our religion

Our parish did even post a recording of this years Easter mass because churches are closed on our village television

Angelina Yeah, I also ate way too much... vut I didn't cook myself yet, eventhough I love to do so.
We had roast with potato dumplings and so on ... and tons of cake, for the easter breaktfast, too. Sadly we were not able to take the easter fire home from church this year... but they did place some easter candles in the church so that we could take one of them home.

          gwen Happy Zombie Jesus Day!

          Thanks.

or as I like to call it "Lattenjoppie" day 🀣

Ines Everyone is very brave for make jokes about Catholic people.

fortunately, not even most germans understand what i mean by "lattenjoppie", you would lynch me πŸ˜‚

            • Max9 replied to this.

              Angelina Lattenjoppie

Can you translate it? πŸ€”πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Seems like I need to do some revision ... my German vocabulary is obviously incomolete

As I noted on another thread, Easter was my first time in a church in a very long time. Although I'm no longer observant, my time away has given me much more pleasant feelings regarding the church and what it stands for. It probably helps that I'm surrounded by a much more loving and supportive family now than I ever was back then.

My wife jokes that at the rate i'm going, I'll be all the way back in before the year is out. I tell her she had better hope not, because if I actually once again embrace the Church's very specific teachings about masturbation, I won't be the only one in this house in a belt for very long! 🀣 🀣

So terrible Catholic people. Bloody Church, eh? Awesome.
Saddely some people can not respect without fear, and, fortunately, we do not scare to anyone.

Ines Yeah, I mean - we don't cheat, we fon't kill, we don't steal ... and we are even solidary .... can you imagine that? It's such a terrible idiology to be against exploiding people...
