Well, I've started something ;-). As I said, we are not so strictly religious. And I would never (!) bother our priest or anyone else with the subject.

By the way, I'm sorry that I can't get back to you on some topics until now. Last week we still had autumn holidays at school and my sister-in-law and her 3 daughters came to visit us very spontaneously. I had my hands full. The advantage was that I didn't have to keep wearing the bra and the bands. The girls are still quite small and we are very close and we did a lot of things together. Actually the Sunday is not for Lent ... at least in my country, but here we have a very strong boundary to the catholic church, so...
The Sunday is to remember and praise God, the almighty, as well as to have a day to relax and enjoy.
Sunday is the day you have the best food of the whole week, when you drink good wine or beer and chill out ... you also often go to a Restaurant after Church for dinng good.
Lent is what we do in a period in spring for some weeks / one week... depending on the person ...

In a parallel post I told that "He could probably also leave out the chastity belt and I still wouldn't get any wrong ideas.
