Don't you think you could have managed the initial shock a bit better if you knew it before?I remember,when I worried about the fact I'll get one(and I was right...),you thought it would be better if I know it before I get it,to not be that shocked too,have you changed your mind?

Unlike you,I think she was right to hide it,even if the punishment was pretty severe.As your father reacted,he would probably told her she can't date him,and told her she has to get older,if she aksed for his permission.By hiding it,she "forced" him to accept it,even if it meant a severe punishment for her.It was very risked,he may heve told her to break-up with him in addition,but it was not the case,and,in the end,she managed to get her relationship.If she is in love,she probably think it is worth it(and I may agree)

It looks like my sister is in big trouble again. Yesterday a boy from her new class came to bring her a Christmas present.

My father asked her why he did so and she confessed to us, that she started a relationship with him a month ago without telling my father.

My father was very unhappy about this for several reasons. He thinks she is to young to start a sexual relationship and he really hated that she already explained her equipment to him. He says after the school change it was very stupid to be that open to a classmate.

However, he said now it is to late to make it undone, so he now has to deal with it. At least her boyfriend seems to accepts that she wears her equipment, at least he was very nice to my father. I wonder a lot why he came to our house. I didn't had the idea that he is stupid or something like that. I think most probably my sister didn't made clear enough what consequences he risks with that.

I'm very sad for my sister, but I also have to say that she knows his expectations and any risk that was related to having a hidden relationship. I think she acted very stupid and could know that massive consequences will be on her way if she get caught.

Yes it will be very hard for her, but he did nothing unexpectable. I think this time again it was mostly her fault. Children should respect the wishes of the parents. From my point of view there was no reason to hide the relationship.
