My skin is fine. Ever since we made some small adjustments it’s been fine. Longest I’ve gone so far is 10 hours including 2 hours of fast running. I need a new treadmill. 10 mph is so slow. But the 15 mph are so expensive .

Sorry... What are you saying?? 10 mph? A girl? 17 km/h...slow? 3:10 minutes/ kilometer, and you say it is slow? In ladies category it is pretty, pretty good time.
Only that you run sprint... and nobody trains sprint in treadmill.

I would like more something whith an elephant, but with a guepard is good too.

Ines I have way to much energy and need to sprint when I get stressed which I can’t do. I can keep up 10 mph for 1 hour and still not be completely exhausted at the end. I need something that will exhaust me in 15-30 min. I can do 7 mph for 3 hours but that takes to long.

        Katie

one mile is 1.6 kilometers and I agree @Ines, 16 kilometers per hour is extremely fast

        Katie I don’t know kilometers

You don't? The second scale in you car's speedometer 🤣

Laura for running. I don’t don’t know know what is considered fast in kilometer. Also my truck has a digital speedometer. If you want the metric stuff you need to change it in the settings. Old cars have that tiny print on the speedometer. Some new cars have both anaolog and digital but some only have digital now days.

Katie you guys do realize before corona I would run 10 miles before school/ work outside. I’d also spend at least and hour a day doing gymnastics and up to 8 on weekends. I get stressed and anxiety if I don’t burn of energy.

Katie... I am semiprofesional badminton player...
I think that I am aware about training, and I can assure you that run 1 hour to 3.45 min/km it is very good for a girl.

Ines well I’d hope I have decent times. I’ve been doing gymnastics since 8 years old and running every day. I’m in very good shape. Still haven’t tried running a kilometer.

I know how that goes, I always gravitated towards fitness even though there was no reason for it but for it's own sake. I never ran 10 miles a day or anywhere near 10 miles per hour. On some old treadmills it looked like I could because your weight on the track slows the thing way down so it reports 10 miles per hour but then you are suprised when you time yourself outside an it was not nearly that fast.

Ines 3.45 min/km it is very good for a girl.

a friend of mine runs in competitions. with 3.45 per km is the absolute top in running (even for men)

                    Top, top..... 😂
Is pretty, pretty, pretty good for a girl, but it, depends on distance, is not astonishing or extra human mark.
If she runs long distance ,21 km or Marathon, then yes, it is very very good time, of professional.

I don’t generally run 10 mph the whole time. I generally run about half of it at 10 and then slow down to 8 or 9. But either way I want the start to be faster. Generally when I start i have stress and adrenaline and anxiety and it’s not as much about running for a while at high speed as it is just going fast to start. If I run a whole marathon length I’m between 3 and 3.5 hours outside. That might give a better idea of my average speed. I need a faster treadmill so I can start fast. Not so I can do it the whole time.

                        😆😅
Awesome time! Record in Spain is 2:28 for professional runner that lives in a Training Center.
3 hours is an awesome time....

Are you a professional runner? These figures make sense for an ordinary person if kph and not mph

Laura not a professional runner but I run every day to keep myself from being hyper. Before corona I would run 20+ miles most weekends. Before corona I’d spend 8 hours a day at the gym on weekends and at least an hour during week. So no, not professional anything but i am In great shape. I’m only 7 pounds over my goal weight.

that's true, but i think i've solved the mystery. i assume that a treadmill does not reflect what it is like in nature 😃

Katie t. If I run a whole marathon length I’m between 3 and 3.5 hours outside.

                            That's still a great performance, I could never run a marathon 😃

Okay, I get it better now. You're really into sports 😃

Tread mill is flat, (I want one that can tilt) so that does make it easier then outside running. But I do believe it’s pretty accurate. There is a spot where the belt is sewn together and we counted how many times that spot passed per min when I was running. Mom did some math and determined 10mph is about 9.9. So pretty close.
