Finding the satellites and login to the mobile network costs the most energy. The GPS tracker also works at least much much better when there is nothing between the device and the tracker. So a technically a GPS tracker in a collar that look like jewelry would make more sense.

From what I understand the antenna need it as well as the gps. It's like trying to use GPS when you are in the basement.

From my experience waterproof technic is many times more expensive. Here you would need very small and waterproof technic. Otherwise it couldn't be worn under clothes.

You didn't get the point. In Germany are several laws enforced to protect minors because it really matters. The contract is only an example.

i know that, but i am no different from my father in this point. i do not share his decision about the chastity equipment, but these are things that should remain in the family. the state does not know the situation in the families and should therefore not presume to judge it.

In the worst case scenario, you would find yourself in court having to justify your actions. Also, you would have to bear the consequences whether you think it is right or not.

You follow laws or you don't. But you can't chose which one you are following and the other not. If you don't like it you are in the wrong country.

because it is about two different things. in public i obey the laws of the country i live in, but at home is our private space, there my father has the say because he is the owner of our home and therefore also determines the rules.

Yes, the best solution is if the GPS antenna has a free view to the sky to find many satellites. Around the neck would be the best place.

Not really. You have to consider it early at the design phase. It will cost some amount more but the most money you spend for the time you need to design it. Let say you need one year. A skilled engineer cost the company over all €150.000 to €200.000. If you sell 1000 pieces per year over 10 years a device would cost €1500 + material + production + profit.

To get it running a long time it would transmit e.g ones per minute. The antenna design should be done in that way the signal is transmitted in the environment and not in the body.
Beside of that the radiated power decreases inversely proportional to the square of the distance.
Example. If the cell phone is held 10 mm away from the head, the power radiated in the head decreases to 30% compared to when it is directly on the head.
The collar would be even further away. In addition, there is only the sporadic transmission. It would be save.
