No.I was sometimes warned I would have to wear it as a punishment,if they thought I was close to disobey my rules with a boyfriend/girlfriend,but never warned I would have to wear it permanently.

I don't understand it either.
They had a chastity belt for her since 16. But didn't insist to wear it when she went to an university.
And changed their mind later on presumably for the reason. Make sense.
That reason is not a case anymore, but she still has to wear the belt 24/7, furthermore, with extra accessories.
Well, they might like to keep her belted, but at a more mature age than it should have been.

I guess two possible reasons.They may hoped that using it as a punishment may make me follow my rules to avoid being punished this way(especially as they can easily noticed I hated to wear it,even as a punishment(and I hate it even more now it is permanently...)).Or they may have hesitated a bit to use it permanently as it is restrictive and knew I'm unhappy to have to wear it.

However,I appreciate to not had to wear it permanently during several years.

i admit that this is where my understanding ends, it doesn't make sense to me to permanently belt someone as an adult woman, where before there was the possibility for 5 years. i find it a bit confusing

that is understandable and yes your parents probably hoped that it would be enough that you wear it as punishment, but they are two different reasons. if you wear the belt as punishment you have already behaved wrongly, if you wear the belt permanently the wrong behaviour is prevented.

Not really sure how i came across this page but after reading through, i've got a question for anyone who'd like to voice an answer or opinion. I read about how parents are putting their daughters in chastity etc... Personally, not experienced this or met anyone who went in for any other reason than because they wanted to. But one thing that i don't hear of, although it is there is male chastity. Does anyone here have any brothers? do they have to wear it? or would anyone in this thread put a guy / son in chastity? Curious to see how people perceive this, if it's like a, only women should wear it or if it's a both genders thing. Heck, i'd of thought it would be more important to lock a guy in chastity than to lock a girl considering most of the time (not all the time) it's the boys who rampage on with their bits...

For me, it's definitely not a single-gender thing; boys can be locked too. In real life, I know several other guys who are locked, but I don't know a single locked girl. So, maybe it's just the people you're around?

details you should ask @Vanessa and @Lukas yourself, but i think it depends a lot on what understanding parents have of chastity. it depends on whether they think it is only not for unmarried girls or should be forbidden for unmarried in general.
