I would want to know that no chaffing or hygiene problems could happen.
So before going to school I would want to wear the chastity belt loner than I expect to when at school.

So if I would go home every other week to spend the night at home a good way to get ready would be to wear twice that time. Then when I get moved into school get a private shower and give my mom my keys back before she leaves me at school...
