be careful, someone could have the idea to kidnap you, cut the belt and all your stuff and sell it, way more interesting than a handbag or a phone since you are carrying thousands euros on yourself

Rina Is this your first experience with chastity or have you been exploring for a while? The belts you suggested are both high-end. I'm sure they would both be good investments if money is no issue.
I know a lot of people dislike cheap belts but some of them are okay, especially if you are just finding your way into chastity. You can pick up a cable belt that is a rip-off of the Fancy Steel one for well under $100 online.
Not saying this is the perfect solution, but it might be a good option for you for the first year or so. It would give you an idea of what's possible and what you would like to improve when it comes to your "forever" belt.

Now I feel same too. The cost difference between high end brands and low cost ones are too much. As a complete newbie who's getting into it, I guess I'll have to find which style fits me the most then make decision on belt for long term wear!

I felt that too. Unfortunately like almost everyone in the world money is the main hurdle for me too. Rushing on decision on "forever" belt might be risky.

Rina Looking at the Fancy Steel Slim Fit sissy belt, it's $929. You can buy exactly the same thing from eBay, DHgate etc for less than $100 (with attachments!).
I have the female version, it's not perfect but it serves my needs at the current time. It's comfortable enough for everyday wear and I have $800 left to indulge myself with. Sure, I'd love to try a My-Steel one day but the exchange rate just kills me. AU$3000 on a chastity belt? I'll pass thanks!
Also, I'm quite active and I really don't think a solid belt is suitable for my lifestyle. At least I can still live a relatively normal life whilst locked in a cable belt... most movement is okay (sitting, standing, driving etc) and I don't have to make any special allowances for the clothes I wear.
Granted, I can't use thigh bands properly with this one, but it's relatively easy (and cheap) to switch to a solid waistband.
A lot of people will write off the cheap belts, but I think at your stage it would be beneficial for you to save some money until you figure out what works best for you.

if I wear everything (including the chains between the belt and bra), I have a total of 1,921,- € on my body.

Interesting point of view indeed, but it says a lot. Even if, in my opinion, it is was too much and a bit heavy-handed from him to do this, I think it's just his own way to protect her daughter and guarantee her safety (and also showing you that he cares a lot for you).

yes, if i didn't see it the same way, i would have broken the belt by force long ago, but i believe him that he only wants the best for me

Vanessa it would depend on the belt... I know what you mean though, some of the solid ones from China just look cheap and nasty. But some of the cable belts are exactly the same as a Fancy Steel for 1/10 of the price. I think they're a good idea for someone trying it out for the first time. It allows the wearer to get their head around the feelings and the psychological effects of being belted, they're comfortable and they are discrete. Paying $1000 - $3000 for a high end model is overkill if you just want to try it out.

even though i would otherwise always make a point of buying good quality, i agree in this case. a slightly cheaper belt should be enough to try. although i still think it should be high quality for 24/7. i am generally not convinced by fancysteel.
