Sin Then it would appear you disagree with both science and medicine.
I think I know what you mean, and no, science and medicine are not really relevant here. Let me give you an analogy.
Science and medicine is pretty clear on why periods happen, and that they're a normal and healthy part of women's life. But it's still necessary to wear a pad or a tampon, no matter how healthy it is to have a period.
Same thing with a girl touching herself. It might be healthy and normal for her to do so, according to science and medicine, and is a normal part of growing up. But it's still necessary to prevent her from doing this, no matter how healthy it is,for reasons I have explained many times already.
Also, she was born deaf, but even though deaf people can learn to sign and have a healthy and normal life, I decided that cochlear implants would be better for her. You're not going to say that it's disagreeing with science and medicine to give her hearing instead of remaining naturally deaf, right? Or accuse me of making her ears my personal plaything? There are some deaf people who would, by the way. They think that deaf people must stay deaf and remain in deaf communities instead. I have gotten hate from those types before, insults mixed with unsound arguments about deafness not being a disability, about how selfish I am for not letting my daughter choose to be deaf until she's grown up, dictionary definitions that try to prove their point, and other similar nonsense.
Does that remind you of anyone?
