The belt we wanna buy is thought of as a deterrent for exactly that kind of situation, but of course deep in your mind you always think that something like that never happens to yourself. Cable belt folds into a bag easily. I wore mine for most of the past year, with breaks for work each day. Other than that belted most of the time.
Depending on the season I use either latex oil on the cable, or I use a singlet / corset / body shaper underneath it for a little more comfort.
I know you are aiming for big things, but seriously... just get a cheap cable belt to play with, aim for hours (not days) and have some fun to begin with. 24/7 is years away.

Yes, I can imagine, because I wear other kind of belt, that I would wear that belt tight, and probably I will have some bruises.
If you do not agree, it is OK, I do not know how tight is your belt of even if you wear it to avoid something further sexual assault.

Idk, but the quality of male belts and female belts can be very different inbetween one brand, as I've learned. So - if you are male an advice from a female wearer has no value for you - just like it is th eother way round.
Why? The front part and gential chambers require a male person to wear the belt during the design phase - but some brands obviously don't do that, otherwise they could have exclused some basic conception issues.

Fancy Steel have designs that made chastity belts accessible to a wider range of people, and far more suitable for everyday life. I can move, bend, stretch, sit, stand, drive etc, and I don't have to buy a new wardrobe in an effort to hide my hardware.
They are comfortable and secure... even with a slimline cable belt, once that shield is locked in the right position there's no access to your private parts without a key or industrial tools.

. I think you are a but exaggerated! I have not never used strange clothes, (I read some people here used custom clothes, not me). However, in my case, I had to buy new clothes when I had my FS!

Probably because the cables seems less secure than bands of metal(even if many classical chastity belt have a cable rear,it is different when all the belt use cables),and the shield seems less secure;and easy to move,too.

My partner and I are buying another belt for me. FS seemed like an obvious choice before, but their redesigned ones seem to have some major issues. 
On the old ones, the front shield was assembled with smooth welds, but on the new ones the front shield is held together with bent metal tabs. These look much less comfortable, even with the liner (which seems like an afterthought).
The secondary shield is held on with outward facing torx security screws, which can be easily removed.
They also used to offer a variety of front shield designs, but they no longer do.
So, based on @Ines wonderful write up, I know that the old model (FS01?) is great for long term use. Has anyone had experience with long term use of the newer model? Do the tabs cause problems?
