alison_cd5 In a recent discussion I was asked to introduce myself BUT how and where

My advice, since you have asked no questions, the pitch that we must know a lot about you in order to help you is false. Nevertheless some people will push you for personal details. It would be polite to do as @Laura said and in the
Introductions topic say a few words. Your age, country you're in, whether you have chastity equipment and, if you do, for how long. Ask yourself then why anyone needs to know more.

Angelina that's not true the thread was only for ideas, i put the idea on hold and the list would have become a separate thread

OK, I created a list first for the introductions topic here, and since you expanded on it, I thought it nicer towards you to refer to your list, but if you feel your list isn't good for the introductions topic, I'll advice everyone to use the link in this post instead.

And I will repeat "Ask yourself then why anyone needs to know more." Than the very basics to be polite. Especially since you have asked no questions. Questions might require info to give a sensible answer.

maybe we should really stick to the introduction thread. i realise that there are some concerns and therefore everyone should write what he/she wants in the introduction thread, but it can get confusing.

Angelina we should really stick to the introduction thread.

        I agree.

If there is several threads used as an introduction one,it would become very hard to know in which someone has wrote...

The whole thread could be moved to the introduction thread.

I wonder anyway why the introduction thread was not found, it is always fixed at the top, isn't it?

            Vanessa

i thought because of the pin on the introduction thread and because it's usually at the top when i'm here

that is normally the case, but it is not in the first place when i come online and nothing new has been written there.

Angelina What have you set in the drop-down menu above the topics? It should be "top" by default, but I have set mine to "latest" and the introduction thread bubbles down like the rest.

Joh If you are not locked in

Freudian slip? I guess you mean "logged".

Joh If you are not locked in it is on the first place.

That was while it is not in the first place,I'm locked in my chastity belt!πŸ˜‰

youdontknowme I have set mine to "latest"

                  Me too.

I haven't set anything there, so it should be shown according to the default settings, but it may also depend on how often we are online.

Should it not still say something?

Avery These are good suggestions. I will update my introduction although I do not want to give out much personal information.

Dalila I do not want to give out much personal information.

                        A wise move.

who is supposed to say what? i don't understand the question. for me, the newest posts are displayed at the top, i.e. the default setting because i have never changed anything.

                          I agree.

I take care to not give too much information about myself, too.
