Laura May I ask you what for?

For many folks here, the potential end of their time in their equipment (or their plans to stay in it after marriage) seems to be a popular area of discussion. You wrote the first introduction, I believe have been a wearer longer than any other active member, and are an integral part of almost every discussion but in some ways still feel rather mysterious. Your posts sometimes seem focused on follow-up questions rather than talking about your own experiences, which I realize may mean that you would prefer not to discuss them, but also might suggest you like asking questions and simply don't answer questions no has bothered to ask you (something I personally resonate with). Just wanted to put it out there that I think people here do care about your experiences and would be curious to know more. I also totally understand if you would prefer to keep that private (or preserve your aura of mystery :-), in which case feel free to delete this discussion, and I promise to tread lightly with future questions.

                I seemed to remember there was a thread focused on you (@Laura) but am afraid my searching failed to find it when I decided to post (sorry about that!). Feel free to reply there if it makes more sense (or merge this discussion). I did indeed read Misterpoll before arriving here and do recall you talking a good deal about your experiences there (although probably would be worthwhile to go back and reread).

                      lol, I am not sure about "like" (this is, of course, an anonymous forum with no prospects of anything beyond interesting conversation) but @Laura is perhaps one of the folks here I find I can most personally relate. If I remember correctly, she is also American, straight, single(?), in tech, and a bit older than many of the wearers here who are in their late teens and early 20s. So while I will concede I may be a bit biased in my curiosity, I suspect as the founder of this forum, and an active moderator and participant, she is someone everyone here would like to know a bit better.

                          Laura landed in a space ship and her parents adopted her.
                          That's how she is so smart and strong. Any day she could take over the world, but she knows it's so hard to get all the people in the world to live together happily so that is the only reason that she doesn't rule the world.
