Whether it is play or upholding values, a sane risk calculation has to consider that the cost of health problems is likely to be much greater than the cost of an unauthorized removal.
Emergency key
Ines Do you think such tools are ready in emergency boxes of an hospital?
Have you had a cast? The saw for them is insane it tickles skin but cuts anything hard I think it would do my belt.
I just don't get this emergency thing - just what emergency will having the key make a difference?
My biggest worry is car crash - seat belt over the chastity belt is gonna hurt but a key doesn't help that. And if it's bad I'll probably be waiting for the ambulance anyway.
Jen Have you had a cast?
Sadly.
But cast scissors can not cut steel or a padlock.
You are right they are very strong, but one thing is fabric and cast, and another, steel.
Jen belt is gonna hurt but a key doesn't help that
We agree here, but a belt is not a match for firefighters. They can cut it in seconds.
CharInChastity Iβm sure a hospital can get it off without it being charged.
maybe yes, but it shouldn't have to come to that. hospitals have to take care of medical emergencies and not to get someone out of a chastity belt in an emergency, the wearer should always be able to do that himself. you have to create an emergency system with your parents how you can quickly free yourself (even if your parents then of course notice it)
CharInChastity I was think jaws of life lol. Not sure how to break open mine. But either way, if it would open when the battery dies i would never charge it lol.
in an emergency, a strong man and a tool is enough, i think your father could do it
Jen And if it's bad I'll probably be waiting for the ambulance anyway.
That's true, if it's really bad, I'll go to the hospital anyway. I have the keys in my father's safe at home, he would send me a message with the combination in an emergency. Of course it only works when I'm at home, but I'm also thinking about the case: I fall off the stairs and call a doctor in the meantime I free myself from my belt. Of course that's not possible outside, but when I was on vacation with my girlfriend (without my father) he gave me a sealed envelope with the keys so that I could free myself in an "emergency".

They had an electric saw for me - it looked like it was spinning but was just shaking. Would only cut the hard parts - not fabric (and not skin). My cast was thin and hard not like the old chunky ones - scissors wouldn't cut it

interesting, for most of my friends who broke something, a pair of scissors was enough, which probably wouldn't be enough for a chastity belt. but i think for a belt, the crowbar from the caretaker in the hospital is enough.

Electronic locks have that power supply problem. And electricity and water when you shower or swim don't go along well.
Best and easiest solution:
Get a cheap electronic safe. While they are of course not perfectly unbreakable, even cheap ones are uch harder to break open than the belt itself, so that should suffice.
Even though these safes usually have only 6 to 8 digits, many have a time delay. 3 times wrong number and you have to wait 15 minutes before you can try again. Another 3 wrong numbers and you have to wait 1 hour. With that delay system even a 6 digit code takes forever to break by brute force.

You got me wrong.
I was talking about an option for an emergency key.
Using a padlock with number combination is too easy to open with trial and error because the size of the lock limits how complex the mechanism can be.
So using the normal padlock with a key on the belt and then keeping the key in the aforementioned safe allows for the keyholder to simply provide the combination to open the safe and access the key, should an emergency make this necessary.
That way the keyholder could be on the other side of the world and the wearer is still securely locked but can get out within minutes if the keyholder provides the combination via phone.

It is called an oscillating saw and typically used to remove casts.
And yes, the time of casts made from plaster is over. Today a special plastic material is used. Soak in hot water for one minute, squeeze as much water out as possible by tightly rolling it. Apply to patient and hold it I the desired position for 5 minutes, done.
Mr-TM The question was asked here (I don't remember who asked it) if anyone has ever had an emergency where the cb had to be opened. There were no answers, so I'll put the question up for discussion again.
so far no emergency and i hope that will never be the case, nevertheless one should be prepared. it is like safety belts in the car.
my father and i once talked about taking a small electric safe with me when i go out that can be opened by a combination of numbers, but the idea kind of went down the drain i don't know where
Have I misunderstood now or do most people here not have an emergency key with them when they go out?
If you wear the cb as protection against rape, I think that's the only way. Because if you have a (secured) key with you, yourself or the person who can release the key could be forced to do so.
I know. That's exactly why I brought it up, because it's a different perspective on the subject of emergency keys.
Ines as a user I must not have a key available
I think there can be situations which warrant exceptions. There are folks here I think who cannot wear the belt when they go out to work but then they put it on when they get home. It would help if they had a key, I think. I wear mine out during the day but I must take it off at school to run and take a shower under controlled circumstances so I can't cheat. But then I put it back on. I couldn't do that without a key.
Avery Yes, in your usage, you need the key with you. Fortunately, you have the will (or will not) power to not just unlock to have some pleasure. Most wearers do not have that. The human sex drive is very strong in the young people and is enhanced by a little alcohol ( which you also avoid) so many that hasve the very best intentions end up unlocking with no concern for the consequences, For most, access to the key needs to at least be restricted enough to allow a cooling off period.
As to bona fide emergencies, in the US the Firemen will have that thing off in a few minutes. They can take the entire roof off a car in a few minutes so that little steel strap will be no problem at all.

Good thing about the firemen. If one watches the local news one sees all sorts of stories where they get people out of awful messes. Hopefully it's the same elsewhere.
