You are right they are very strong, but one thing is fabric and cast, and another, steel.

They had an electric saw for me - it looked like it was spinning but was just shaking. Would only cut the hard parts - not fabric (and not skin😁). My cast was thin and hard not like the old chunky ones - scissors wouldn't cut it

interesting, for most of my friends who broke something, a pair of scissors was enough, which probably wouldn't be enough for a chastity belt. but i think for a belt, the crowbar from the caretaker in the hospital is enough. 😂

It is called an oscillating saw and typically used to remove casts.
And yes, the time of casts made from plaster is over. Today a special plastic material is used. Soak in hot water for one minute, squeeze as much water out as possible by tightly rolling it. Apply to patient and hold it I the desired position for 5 minutes, done.

Electronic locks have that power supply problem. And electricity and water when you shower or swim don't go along well.
Best and easiest solution:
Get a cheap electronic safe. While they are of course not perfectly unbreakable, even cheap ones are uch harder to break open than the belt itself, so that should suffice.
Even though these safes usually have only 6 to 8 digits, many have a time delay. 3 times wrong number and you have to wait 15 minutes before you can try again. Another 3 wrong numbers and you have to wait 1 hour. With that delay system even a 6 digit code takes forever to break by brute force.

i think you have mixed up two things. my father's safe is in our living room, it never comes into contact with water. as for the belt, it wouldn't be an electronic one anyway, but a purely mechanical combination lock, which would interest me.

You got me wrong.
I was talking about an option for an emergency key.
Using a padlock with number combination is too easy to open with trial and error because the size of the lock limits how complex the mechanism can be.
So using the normal padlock with a key on the belt and then keeping the key in the aforementioned safe allows for the keyholder to simply provide the combination to open the safe and access the key, should an emergency make this necessary.
That way the keyholder could be on the other side of the world and the wearer is still securely locked but can get out within minutes if the keyholder provides the combination via phone.

so far no emergency and i hope that will never be the case, nevertheless one should be prepared. it is like safety belts in the car.

my father and i once talked about taking a small electric safe with me when i go out that can be opened by a combination of numbers, but the idea kind of went down the drain i don't know where

If you wear the cb as protection against rape, I think that's the only way. Because if you have a (secured) key with you, yourself or the person who can release the key could be forced to do so.

I think there can be situations which warrant exceptions. There are folks here I think who cannot wear the belt when they go out to work but then they put it on when they get home. It would help if they had a key, I think. I wear mine out during the day but I must take it off at school to run and take a shower under controlled circumstances so I can't cheat. But then I put it back on. I couldn't do that without a key.

Avery Yes, in your usage, you need the key with you. Fortunately, you have the will (or will not) power to not just unlock to have some pleasure. Most wearers do not have that. The human sex drive is very strong in the young people and is enhanced by a little alcohol ( which you also avoid) so many that hasve the very best intentions end up unlocking with no concern for the consequences, For most, access to the key needs to at least be restricted enough to allow a cooling off period.

As to bona fide emergencies, in the US the Firemen will have that thing off in a few minutes. They can take the entire roof off a car in a few minutes so that little steel strap will be no problem at all.

Girls with you power of will, similar to @Jen, are very rare, you are true heroines. Sometimes people say that I have a lot of willpower, but it is not true, you have it. I have breaks for training and playing sports, but do not spoil myself while I am training is not to have great willpower, it is being normal, simply. I need my belt, my bands and my checks to feel myself safe.

well, i don't have the keys, there's nothing to do but wait, but i can give orgasms to my girlfriend, make her happy and she can make me happy with many other things than orgasms. it's very frustrating sometimes, but if you have a partner who really loves you, you be able to hold it out 🙂
