I know. That's exactly why I brought it up, because it's a different perspective on the subject of emergency keys.

    Mr-TM

As wearer, I must not have a as a user I must not have a key available, but an accessible and controlled key.
Keys are the keyholder's responsibility and she/he should not share that responsibility.

Ines as a user I must not have a key available

I think there can be situations which warrant exceptions. There are folks here I think who cannot wear the belt when they go out to work but then they put it on when they get home. It would help if they had a key, I think. I wear mine out during the day but I must take it off at school to run and take a shower under controlled circumstances so I can't cheat. But then I put it back on. I couldn't do that without a key.

Avery Yes, in your usage, you need the key with you. Fortunately, you have the will (or will not) power to not just unlock to have some pleasure. Most wearers do not have that. The human sex drive is very strong in the young people and is enhanced by a little alcohol ( which you also avoid) so many that hasve the very best intentions end up unlocking with no concern for the consequences, For most, access to the key needs to at least be restricted enough to allow a cooling off period.

As to bona fide emergencies, in the US the Firemen will have that thing off in a few minutes. They can take the entire roof off a car in a few minutes so that little steel strap will be no problem at all.

Good thing about the firemen. If one watches the local news one sees all sorts of stories where they get people out of awful messes. Hopefully it's the same elsewhere.

Of course, and thanks for note it.

Girls with you power of will, similar to @Jen, are very rare, you are true heroines. Sometimes people say that I have a lot of willpower, but it is not true, you have it. I have breaks for training and playing sports, but do not spoil myself while I am training is not to have great willpower, it is being normal, simply. I need my belt, my bands and my checks to feel myself safe.

            Ines you have it

I have had some failures, fortunately none involving men, which is most important to me. Plus I have no one right now who attracts me. Unless I do have a special person I don't think much about it. I don't know how people like Angelina who has a partner ready and waiting can stand the wait.

I agree, it should be an emergency system, rather than emergency key in your pocket.

              Avery

but the difference is that you are your own key holder. if you have a key holder, he/she has to take care when and how you are free of the belt, then you don't need a key yourself (and you are not allowed to have it in this context).

Avery I don't know how people like Angelina who has a partner ready and waiting can stand the wait.

well, i don't have the keys, there's nothing to do but wait, but i can give orgasms to my girlfriend, make her happy and she can make me happy with many other things than orgasms. it's very frustrating sometimes, but if you have a partner who really loves you, you be able to hold it out 🙂

Angelina but the difference is that you are your own key holder

Another difference is I want to follow this lifestyle. Others are prisoners and are counting the days 'til they are done with it.

So I don't keep a tally, but I have to say you're not entirely wrong

Angelina So I don't keep a tally, but I have to say you're not entirely wrong

I sincerely wish the time goes quickly for you.

Well I don't have the expensive belts most of you have... I did check with a friend and a mysteel belt is twice as thick as mine. Mine is twice as thick as the very cheap ones...

I have had three times where the metal broke (metal fatigue) in some places that poked me yet I could still not get out. I needed a key. (Not to mention a few loose screws....) So yes, I have had several belt issue emergencies.

Not to mention the one time my back went OUT. Swelling and pain required immediate release. I was downstairs and the only key was on the 2nd floor, and I was alone. Let's just say, I did not plan for that.

So as for me Emergency keys are required. How that works for others....

Avery I sincerely wish the time goes quickly for you.

yes, that will be, but i remain of good cheer 😃

                        JonesMacGyver

but this sounds less like a problem with the keys and more like problems with the belt in general.

JonesMacGyver I take it that twice as thick as cheap means BlackEmperor. What exactly was the problem with metal fatigue? Snapped screw/rivet? Because in my experience the typical metal fatigue issue involves the central post in the locking mechanism and the thing just poping open. Funny thing is that the cheap chinese belts with the “high security lock” do not have this part that much overengineered, so this is not an issue.

Snapped in 2 different places in the crotch plate. Twice at one end and once at the other.

Forget the belt quality (which I think is good), what about when my back went out. Totally unpredictable.... (It was a first and hasn't happened again in 3 years)

                        Just saying emergencies happen.

                          JonesMacGyver Just saying emergencies happen.

that's right, and apparently also brand belts that are poorly produced. i hope you find a good belt.

Angelina the point is that you can have an emergency regardless of how good your belt is. You are probably somewhat too young to understand the physical issues of people that are ten to twelve years older than you, and well, while we do sports and random bad ideas, we are crunchy, old and what not.

i understand the point and of course there should be a good emergency system. i just think the best system is of no use if you have problems with the belt.
