WriterAlexis but the Jets still won that game.
WriterAlexis Beating the Jets shouldn't be a problem with Aaron Rodgers out. Their backup threw 3 INT.
Yeh, now that Rodgers is gone. But at the beginning of the season, an 0-4 start looked like a good bet.
I was talking about yesterday's. 30-10 with the Cowboys.

While I am pleased to see the Steelers back at the top of the AFC north where they belong, that Ravens/Colts game ended egregiously. 1st game in NFL history where a kicker makes 4 50+ yard field goals. Would not have put money on Justin Tucker getting outkicked.
I was hoping Vikings could put something together on those last two drives to send it to overtime.
bdsamm I was hoping you were able to see the Chiefs today. Pretty good game but the Vikings quarterback seemed to be pretty good.
I did get to see it, especially the end. It was exciting at the end with trying to set up the Hail Mary.
Pats have scored no touchdowns in two games and only one field goal (38-3 and 34-0). Even the defense has been poor although there have been several bad turnovers in each game which led to points against. Incredibly discouraging. Hard to know what to think or even how they can beat anybody. I've heard both that they are now at the top of the list to get the first seed in the draft or second in that list. Might be for the best if we can draft a top notch QB.
bdsamm remember, somebody has to lose.
But not us. I was born 4 months after the Pats won their first Super Bowl. I have known nothing but winning by the Pats. I think at one point we played in 7 straight AFC championship games.
I can watch the first half of this Thursday's game. 8:15 on Prime.

That was your Tom Brady era. You won't be able to reestablish such a dynasty without another Tom Brady, and Tom Brady's are hard to come by.

We got lucky, I think. Brady was drafted in the sixth round. If the Patriots had any idea what he had it would have been foolish to leave him out there that long. And if it were obvious what he had somebody on the other 31 teams would have picked him up sooner than sixth.
bdsamm Made it into early in the third quarter. Can't see the Broncos coming back to win this. Fun to see people who can move the ball. Watched on my desktop on Amazon. Have a 32" monitor and a perfect picture. Our dorms are old and are wired with coax cable so even on a good TV you don't get really top-notch reception so this was great.
