the lock!

Attention my-steel wearers who uses the Burg Watcher tiny padlocks, your padlock can be picked open! I ordered the padlock 2 weeks ago and spend the next 3 days trying to figure out the best tension wrench/pick to use. It can take me up to 10 minutes to pick open, but I took pics of the keyhole turning 45 degrees with the tension wrench as my proof, with the padlock opened. The reason why its a big deal to me, is because first of all, my-steel wearers can have a chance at freedom, and second, because you can NOT remove the key until the lock is turned into the original position, which can't turn 45 degrees without the key inside, unless picked.
After a few more practices, i'm going to try to pick it upside down, as if its locked onto a chastity belt. I'll give updates once I figure the best way.
UPDATE: Filmed the lockpicking attempt upside-down, got it open in just under 2 minutes. Since it's night and I'm using the ceiling light, most of it is visible, but I finally got it. I'm so happy. Now, I need to figure out a way to upload it somewhere. \o/
Raziel my-steel wearers can have a chance at freedom,
Sign me on.

Yes, you can close the padlock without needing the key, so don't worry about it. The video descriptions has the time stamps for more info if you need it. They are spoken in English, so hopefully you'll understand. Please enjoy and I hope you learn something!

Laura A better lock, but hard to find for My-Steel, as they have so tiny locks.
Neosteel have now a lock who is harder to pick.
Another way, can be to use tamper-evident-security-tape over the key opening on the lock.

but then it applies that the one who has the key and the tape also protects them both from the one who has the belt.
Raziel There is a really smart man... On the internet... Who is helping????
Instead of making fun...
There is a first time for everything...
@Laura I will agree that I love my chastity and would never want to go get pregnant with a drug dealer but at the same time this could help some people....
@Raziel get the whole belt for your gf and then you can practice actually loling

But do you consider almost all of us have no skill of lockpicking?
Anyway,it is interesting to know.
Good parts:
-no scratches,apparently
-possible to lock it discreetly
Bad parts:
-need lockpicking tools(possible,I think,on Amazon,for example)
-need some skills(seems not so easy to know how to place and use both tools,if not used to do it)
-consequences if caught
Unsure parts:tools seems fragile,are you sure they would not break and damage/get stuck in the lock?
If you try it,let us know if it worked!

@Vanessa
The tools are made of metal, sure over time they might warp, but you could also bend it back. I've had this lock picking set for almost 5 years now, and they're still in great condition. The tools can still bend, but you'd need to use alot of force to do so. Since they are skinny/tiny, they would eventually break apart, but I'd say they can easily last 20+ years. I've been lockpicking every month or 2 and trying about 20 times in those months. It just depends if I'm practicing or trying out random padlocks. They WILL last nearly forever.
@Megan
Thanks! I'm glad I can help out.
As for the lockpicking skillset, its something you need to feel for. Like having the right amount of pressure for tension (turning the lock partially before picking the pins), plus telling the difference between a pin that's already picked versus the pins that are not successfully picked yet. Even in the videos, I had to dig into the keyhole back and forth many times to figure out which pins were blocking the way of opening the lock. I really wish it could be easier to show you all a way. I mainly did this to share that it is possible, but never give up, because I'm sure all of you would be successful. If not, visit Houston, Tx sometime!

It seems hard...
But I may try it someday.I would like to have some opinions from people not used to lockpicking too.
Good the tools seems strong enough to not break easily,anyway.
Texas is a bit far,in my case!

I forgot to mention, but there is a spring in the tumbler that makes the keyhole turn back into the normal position, so the moment you release the tension wrench and stop turning the keyhole, it'll reset. While it resets, the pins will push back down, blocking the way, which means you just started over. There are springs that keeps the pins down, unless pushed with a key or pick, so if you plan to try it, try to keep going without giving up.
It would be nice if you started documenting a journal of how your lockpicking experience goes, but opening your first padlock, to a door, and someday, your own belt. That would be an interesting way to track everyone's progress.
