Trismegistus You're on the right track. You are independent. Tell your father it's time he opens the belt. If he doesn't, tell him politely and quietly he has 24h to think about it. No need to give reasons, talk about the past, or enter a discussion. Then, if necessary, have it opened by firemen or locksmith or with your own tools. Leave if you feel you should leave.

That's exactly the point, I don't see that, you don't seem to be dependent (anymore). So just get out of the belt and if your dad won't give you the keys voluntarily, look out about lockpicking.
Why are you still in the belt despite your independence? Why?

Try to keep the relationship open and as good as it can be. One day you'll have kids and it will be good if their grandfather is in their lives. Good luck.

Avery I guess you're right, I'm emotional, because I can't have any relief with or without my girlfriend. We both are over 18, but her parents would never enforce her to wear such a device.

I don't want to break the belt, because it's expensive, and neither I want to call the police for abuse. My father is very strict and when my mother left him, he became obsessed with controlling my pleasure. Sometimes I hate him, and sometimes I feel guilty for hating him.
