If my-steel is for beginners, what did you have in mind for intermediates and chastity addicts? ;-)
Seriously, a my-steel is second to none in its functionality and comfort. If you don't like the silicone, you have the more expensive options of the pretty polished Neosteel Spaceless series, the minimal FancySteel or the unconventional but well designed carrara belts. Not all of them have them same balance between comfort and protection of the my-steel belts, and none of them will be delivered as quickly and in the same consistent quality and sizing as the my-steel. (No, I'm not paid by them)
Typical beginner belts for people who have a hard time shelling out close to 1000$/€ are chinese cable belts. For 60$/€, you get a good first idea of what a chastity belt can change in your life.
