Maija In Germany, too. There are however special "Textilsaunen", where everyone has to wear swim clothes. Only time I've ever been in a public sauna was in one of those, as the cage would be pretty much impossible to hide in a sauna where everyone is naked.

youdontknowme No idea about Poland, but that is not how saunas work in Finland or Germany. Swimsuits in the sauna are seen as unhygienic.

In Poland, all people more professionally dealing with this topic recommend staying in the sauna naked. Poles, however, are much more shy about nakedness than Germans or Scandinavians, they resemble Americans in this matter, which is why a lot of people - especially women - wear a swimwear in the sauna.

I was in public sauna with thin towel (as everybody) but i had Latowski under it. Two persons saw me in belt when i came up from cooling pool. Nobody said anything. 😉

Same. The one where you could go with swim clothes near me closed, and even though I would love to go to a sauna again, I'll probably have to wait until my parent's sauna is working again. Won't go to a public one where I have to be completely naked with my cage on.

Makes sense. The other patrons would probably be as uncomfortable as you, considering that a cage will probably draw eyes to that area that a bare body would not, and most people do not want their eyes drawn to an accessorized penis.

For me personally, I would imagine it to be very unpleasant to go to such a place with pierced genitals or something which is more normal than a chastity device... Wouldn't want to imagine how people would stare.

TerranceH I doubt many have an explicit rule against it, though you are probably correct that they would make one if anyone tried. Mostly because it would be interpreted as fetish gear.
